Willie Anderson to Ravens

Willie Anderson will sign a 3 year, $11M contract with the Ravens. Missed opportunity for the Bears to add a proven T. A lot of people will say it's too much money, but it's not all guaranteed money. Depending on the bonus amount and contract structure it could be a reasonable amount.

I know it's a missed opportunity.
But does anyone know how much cap room the Bears have?
They signed Harris, Urlacher, Hester and Briggs to big contracts as well as all their draft picks I doubt the Bears had the cap room to sign Anderson.

I dont know how accurate it is, but according to the link above they have 2.18 M, so not much.

cap space better be the reason
well, either that, or anderson didn’t want to come to chicago. otherwise, there’s no reason to not have gone after him. this isn’t a ton of money, and i suspect only 1 year (or maybe 2) is guaranteed.

Honestly, I think he was most interested in Baltimore from the beginning.
He probably wanted to stay in the division and the Ravens are consistently good team.
Kick it to me... I'm open!
