Da Bears!!!

Let’s get this NFL Show on the Road!!! Happy NFL Day!!!

Fire Angelo!!

This

updates automatically, so it’s probably just as good, except for this gets recorded permanatley.

by Twins Territory on Sep 7, 2008 2:12 PM CDT up reply actions

yea...

… except it is nowhere near as good.

by big_lowitzki on Sep 7, 2008 4:25 PM CDT up reply actions

Can't wait

to see Forte start his career and Hester’s move to WR.

He’s not listed on the injury report, so he should be starting.

This is going to be brutal

Sorry for “not being positive” but this team is going to be terrible. We need to get rid of the McCaskey family, look at the the Hawks after Wirtz passed

by 815Sox on Sep 7, 2008 4:20 PM CDT reply actions

That's not being negative, that's being a realist

If only the McCaskey’s would go….

Hell

2 of my friends/former roommates were nephews of Dollar Bill and even they are willing to admit he has a really negative impact on the Hawks

by 815Sox on Sep 7, 2008 5:07 PM CDT up reply actions

opps

are nephews, not were

by 815Sox on Sep 7, 2008 5:07 PM CDT up reply actions

I'm pretty sure

that no one will argue the stupidity of the McCaskey’s or of Wirtz. And, my proof is exactly what you said: look at the Hawks now.

I'M A MAN! I'M 22!

Yeah

I just really hope the Bears prove me wrong. Thank god this baseball season has been good to me.

Williams to PUP

We’ve got to move Williams to the PUP and create another roster spot for the next 6+ weeks. I think a player is not eligible to come off PUP earlier than 6 weeks, but I think you’re allowed to leave them on longer if necessary (like the DLD in baseball). Maybe someone can verify if you know.

I don’t know who would take the spot, but it seems silly to lose that spot every week. I know that only 48 out of 53 are eligible to enter any given game, but it’s still a man down against the 53.

When they boo you, you know they mean you. George Halas

i don't like that they're not putting him on IR

rushing him back from surgery is not how you should treat your tackle-of-the-future.

Go Bears!

While I’m not predicting a Bears’ win in order not to jinx them, I’m still hoping for a much better showing than we’ve been seeing.

It should be interesting to see how Manning does – if he’s rusty at all and if the loss of Saturday has an effect.

On a related note, how awesome was Brady going down in the 1st quarter today?

Let's go Bears!

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

But the one thing I do know is that it is the case.

No offense...

…but this is pretty much what mikeb and I have been saying all along. This isn’t baseball. Defense/pitching/special teams can’t just shut every team down. The longer they’re out there, the more tired they’ll get. That leads to bad play, and, unfortunately, injuries. Football isn’t quite the vacuum that baseball is.

1. Both parents went to UF, so he didn’t choose to go there just for football
2. He has already said his first love is Jesus, not football.
3. He still needs to prove that he can throw from the pocket. That’s gonna take more than one season.

Amazing

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

But the one thing I do know is that it is the case.

Orton is a tough son of a bitch

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

But the one thing I do know is that it is the case.

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

But the one thing I do know is that it is the case.

Is there any question

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

But the one thing I do know is that it is the case.

Nice Surprise tonight

Still doesn’t make me all that much more confident in our chances this year. The Colts looked as bad tonight as we looked good

Defense was all established Vets

They had no one trying to make the team and played like they didn’t care in the pre season

HAAA-HA!!

Did anyone else see Urlacher’s disdain from the woman interviewing him after the game?

"So Brian, this is definitely an upset tonight

Urlacher : [Blank Stare]

“how do you feel about being the Colts?”

Urlacher: “This wasn’t an upset to us.”

[Seething riling anger seeping from his face]

"Yes it's true. Everyone knows that I've pitched. I make sure of that. I have nine different pitches, all of which are awesome. I have a 0.00 ERA, got one out, throwing all knuckleballs. I don't remember who I faced -- some dude from Ole Miss." - Ryan Theriot

Thanks!

And chase that “Terry” from Dallas off your site. That dude is a punk! Before the Cowboys choked in the playoffs last year he was talking smack on everyone’s site. When they lost, he couldn’t be found. Just remind him of that!

STAT OF THE NIGHT:

Forte’s 50 yard TD run in the first quarter was longer than ANY run in Cedric Benson’s career with the Bears.
