More Bears/Lions Connections: Lions To Interview Rivera
The Lions will interview San Diego defensive coordinator Ron Rivera for their head coaching job Tuesday, according to NFL.com.
I can't imagine Rivera in Lion blue, but I suppose it's plausible. Maybe we'll see more of the Bears/Lions connections will occur with Jeff Garcia coming over to Chicago after spending some time in Detroit.

Someone Please Help Me!
Help me to understand! Why do we do this time and time again? Every time I here Ron Riveras name I cringe. How could we let him go? What about Bernard Berrian? We get the big time receiver we were looking for and then let him go to the enemy. And now look at us, we are desperate for a big time receiver. I was so excited all off season about having Berrian & Hester, Clark & Olsen and now with Forte, think of the possibilities. I know, get over it right, DAMN!

ok
obviously you dont know that it came down to spending the money on Berrian or Briggs and they chose to give it to Briggs. I’d say smart choice, b/c hes the one goin to the pro bowl. I dont like the fact that Berrian left either, but Id rather have Briggs. And as far as Rivera, I still feel him leaving isnt the reason our defense has gone down the gutter. You follow the money when it comes to being bad, and that money goes to the players that underacheived…Vasher, Urlacher, Harris, etc.

Harris is a prime example of a fat contract=no need to push yourself anymore. He wouldn’t even practice during the week. He always had an excuse. I hope Marineli gets in all their faces and tells them it’s time to perform or contracts are going to be renegotiated.
