Larry English

in Mel Kiper's first mock draft he has us taking Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU. a player who's strengths are his size and stopping the run but doesn't ever seem to get to the QB

why would we want him on a team full of guys who couldn't get to the QB?

i recommend us looking in to a player who is a pure pass rusher and stops the run adequately, NIU's very own DE Larry English (6'2 246)

he routinely sacked the QB in his illustrious Huskie career and further strengthening my point is he is having an outstanding week of practice at the senior Bowl (Todd Mcshay has raved about him all week)

we could possibly trade down to get him, collecting another draft pick or 2

what are your thoughts on adding Larry English to our abysmal pass rush?

Well I know English

wants to come to Chicago pretty bad. That is a good thing I suppose.

He can have Dan Bazuin's locker.

I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.

Went to high school with him

And he seemed out of place at Marmion, but if he can put pressure on a QB, I’m for him.

He is being projected

As a 3-4 LB/DE guy. The Bears wouldn’t know how to use him.

Fire Ron Turner!!!
Fire Angelo!!

I saw him in a hallway

at NIU a few months back, and he looks in better shape than any defensive player on the Bears. I think that anyone with speed and strength can play DE in the 4-3, and he can’t be any worse against the run than Marky A.
