Around SBN: News And Other Updates Leading Up To Pats-Giants

No love for Chicago in the Media...

The Media voting is out and here're their "All Pro" selections:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3821666

The only Bears player to get a single vote was Maynard.  (unless I missed one) Obviously he deserved it this year.  But what about Robbie Gould and Briggs?  I mean come one, only 1 vote for 1 guy?  I know we didn't have a spectacular year by any stretch, but there were a few brighter spots.

Briggs and Gould both should've got in

Oh well. We sucked this year so everyone turns a blind eye.

Mediocre teams

aren’t very worthy of All-Pro selections.

I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.

Not Really...

Oakland’s punter made the team and the Bears are gods compared to the Raiders.

maynard

Remember when people were talking about wanting to cut Maynard, and get a new punter.

That was fun.

I was kind of wondering

where all that crap came from earlier in the year. He’s been pretty solid and certainly picked it up at the end of the year when it counted.

Respect is not given, it is earned.

And we just didn’t earn any respect this year. but who cares? Really, it seems as though most everyone loves to hate the bears. I like it that way.
