Am I the only one who finds week 10 fascinating?
Singletary coaching against the only team he played for.
By the way, it’s a Thursday night game, so both teams will only have four days to rest before playing each other.
Your not alone...
If both teams continue playing winning football, this matchup could have playoff implications on top of the past history. Definitely an interesting contest.

It's crazy, but the guy looks good
He’d have looked awesome in a Bears uni. Runs hard.

Think thats bad??
Benson broke a tackle and ran to the endzone for a TD. The announcer says breaks away with “sprinters speed”..
Roachy love the run stuffin', but don't forget about the TE over the middle!!
He'd look good
in a Bears uniform playing with Forte
He was a workhorse for them today.
It’s always good to see people grow up and get their head screwed on straight.

BRONCOS throwbacks
ugliest uniforms of all time

I kinda like 'em.

Instead of calling them
thowback uniforms, they should’ve called them throwup uniforms.

Oh dear God, those Broncos unis are HORRENDOUS
That ball hit deep! Way back! You can put it on the boooaaaard...YES!
Long drive into deep right center field! This ball is OUTTA HEEERRRREE!

And here I was thinking I could cheer for the Broncs cuz at least they'd be in blue & orange.
No such luck. Now I am cheering for the team dressed in body fluid colors.
May the wind be always at your back, and may your placekicker have icewater in his veins.
The socks are kind of hypnotic, though
Especially when they get shifted around and the stripes are all swirly instead of straight.
And yes, I am occasionally weird. :-)

What, reminds you of '85?
:)

that and
they were my second favorite team after the bears growing up..Steve grogan, Russ Francis, Sam the bam Cunningham..good times. Til Belicheck showed up..now I hate them with a passion..

I admit that I was a surrogate fan of the Skins in the 80s when dad was teaching me what a first down was and all that.

Yes, Rocket looks very content in his plush kitty bed.

this was a cool helmet.
Personally I think they should go back to the old look. Stop trying to look like the Vikings.
they need to go back to these bad boys.
I've got this thing and it's fucking golden!
Wow.
my man Miles Austin in Dallas ended up with 10 receptions for 250 yards and 2 TDs.

greatest last minute pick up of all time!!

Brandon Marshall made Shawn Springs look silly.
Marshall is good. Marshall looked great with Cutler. Cutler is a Bear. Marshall is a FA next season, and wants out of Denver. Marshall might be a Chicago Bear next year.

that throw was awful by Orton. If the cb is looking he could have picked it as he didn’t throw it up high enough..

I agree
Sometime soon Orton’s questionable throws will start to be picked off. I can’t see a real reason for defenses not to press every WR at the line against the Broncos.

Bye weeks are boring
Anybody here going to next weeks game? Can’t wait flying from O Hare on Saturday
Holy cow
There are some baaaaad teams in the NFL…
And the Giants put on a clinic every time they play football.
They have a good gameplan up in Denver.
Tons of short passes+explosive receivers=lots of yards. Orton isn’t forced to make tough throws for that team, and as long as they execute, he’ll be successful up there.
Metal sharpens metal.
And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan
Good god
The falcons are really gonna be a problem next week.
You live by the sword, you die by the sword.
I wonder how long it'll be before Denver fans are over here
thanking us for Orton and all that. The dink and dunk stuff is just boring to me but it was effective. Also Tom Brady is not the same guy, first time I saw him play this year. Can’t believe his missed Welker towards the end.

Yep
He usually makes those throws to wide open WRs. There were a couple of them today that could’ve changed the outcome of the game that he missed.

What about the pass to moss he threw over his head
He was wide open..

I'm tired of hearing about money, money, money, money, money. I just want to play the game, drink Pepsi, wear Reebok.

BTW, thanks for Orton.
If this be Hell, let us make the most of it!

should try
Rocket back there as DB, just to keep up with him… but if Peanut shut down Calvin Johnson in the 2nd half against the Lions, i’m alright with him on Roddy

In the 2nd half
Calvin Johnson had basically zero yards, Lovie put peanut solely on CJ in the 3rd/4th quarter.

Also in the second half,
we were sacking Stafford left and right (until he got injured early in the 4th). Throw in a couple penalties, a turnover, and a couple of three and outs, and that was that.
Tillman may have been covering Johnson in the second half (he did register a couple of tackles), but he was more shut down because Stafford didn’t have time for a 3 step drop, and we just gave Culpepper the underneath passes (which he took for short yardage).

I'm just stating
that at least one of our corners is capable of shutting down these big name receivers, like he has with Burress who shot his mouth off, and then caught 0 balls against us, and i believe he limited Moss too.
Roddy White doesnt scare me so much as, our 10 yard off the LOS defensive scheme does.

I hear ya...
But I don’t agree about Tillman this season. He has either fallen down while in coverage, or just been way out of position too many times this year. It seems like with each week we play, I trust him less and less.
Hopefully, the off week gave him (and the coaches) plenty of time to work on some things.

CJ was injured during the 2nd half
so maybe if white gets injured Tillman will be able to shut him down… what CJ did in the 1st half prior to getting injured is what should concern all of us….
Ryan+White > Stafford+CJ
Roddy White/Matt Ryan doesn't scare me at all
The key to the game in my opinion will be the running backs and tight ends. If we can contain Michael Turner and keep them underneath with Tony Gonzales and not over the middle 20 yards downfield then i think we can score more points than them to win.
Easier said than done tho, but coming out of a bye, i think Lovie is gonna have a revenge gameplan brewing…this game is a Must win imo. After last year, this is a Must win.

Some great games today.
Cardinals beat the Texans on a goalline stand and a Pick 6.
Broncos beat the Patriots in Overtime, but those uniforms looked like ****
Bengals are amazingly 4-1
Lions actually kept it close against the Steelers.
Although there are still some stinkers like every time JaMarcus has the ball, and watching the highlights from the Bills/Browns game was just depressing… How can the Bills suck so much right now after how well they played against the Patriots?

Random thoughts
I hope Hasselback can stay healthy enough to make the Seahawks games a challenge for Min and GB.
The next two games at Atlanta and Cincinnati are looking tough.
I’m glad we’re not the team that has to play the 49ers after that embarrassing loss and their bye week. Samurai’s going to be mad after that one.
I hope our offensive line/run game has figured itself out during the bye. Watched some of the NE/Denver game and I’d like to see Cutler get half the time Brady gets to stand back there.
We need Denny Green to come back and give another “If you wanna crown em” speech after the next Vikings game.
The bye week looks good right now
Going on the road next week to play a pretty tought team… and we get two weeks to prepare for it. Nice.
Atlanta had two weeks to prepare for San Fran…. I’m sure that helped too. In fact, all of last week’s BYE teams won today.

Jerry Angelo trades for Jay Cutler! (4.2.2009)
.
Well the good news is that
Atlanta probably couldn’t have that kind of game two weeks in a row so we should be happy about that.
Roachy love the run stuffin', but don't forget about the TE over the middle!!
I hope they don't play like that two weeks in a row.
I’m hoping they lay a nice big fat turd in a tuxedo, in the heart of Hotlanta.

did you see
that one play, Brady literally planted his feet, and stood there, he had like a 10 second pocket…amazing

The Broncos dropped 8 in coverage
…several times. They kept changing their cover schemes. Brady missed Welker because he had to throw quickly and the two miscommunicated on the route.
The Broncos had three or four blown coverages all game. They got hurt on two of them. But what they did well was confuse Brady on several occasions — and that’s not easy to do.
And Orton was everything many of us hoped he’d be.
The Jets/Dolphins are good.
The Browns must be ****** that they got rid of Edwards now…
