I've never agreed with angryandy before...
…but I can’t find even a single sentence in this post that I disagree with.
That loss last season was heartbreaking, especially after the Bears rallied and Kyle Orton made one of the best passes for a TD, near the end, that I’ve ever seen by a Bears’ QB.

Bears by a touchdown
Instead of Orton bringing us back in the 4th quarter, it’ll be Jay, of course. And this time the special teams and defense will hold up.
I don't want to come back...
I want to lead. I want to smack some reality into Matt “Gave myself a nickname” Ryan.

I have to admit that I am a bit surprised that
the spread is not more than 3 points. Which means they are calling this even without the homefield advantage. Hmmm..Vegas always knows more than us and they are calling this a pretty tight game…
Roachy love the run stuffin', but don't forget about the TE over the middle!!
Pressure Pressure Pressure
It all comes down to whether or not that D line can make it extremely uncomfortable for Matty Ice. If he’s kicking it like he’s at a Spa back there, then we’re going to get destroyed. I think we’ll get the pressure we need along with a close come from behind win.
31-27 CHI win.
a win at atlanta will be a measure in how well (considering the injuries on defense) the bearsare as a team
Falcons
Atlanta will be the toughest challenge the Bears have yet had this season. They are a good team and beating them will make a believer of me and many others. I agree with stepeo on it being a measure.

Just got through checking ESPN picks...
Marked me down as pissed too!! I’m not usually one of these guys that gets bent out of shape when it comes to media perceptions. I’m usually a realistic type of fan but you know what? For this week…Hell with it, I’m a meathead!
Every and I mean EVERY expert is picking the falcons to win this game. Even most of the media here is picking the Falcons to win. They act like we’re the Lions or something. Screw the Falcons and Matt Ryan. I hope this week the Bears handle business and Cutler starts his Pro Bowl/MVP bid this week. Bears 27 falcons 3…I hope.
Why would they not pick Atlanta?

Because we are the better
“team”
when one side lacks, the other picks up the slack, all 3 phases contribute week in and week out. ATL has a scary offense, their STS is nothing to write home about, and their Defense is IMO mediocre. i know Abraham, i can’t even name anyone on their secondary though.

so the bears
defense is mediocre at the moment, the special teams are good and the offense is less than scary, or at least not as scary as the falcons.
so they picked the home team in an nfl game. not offensive.
The point is, they are very beatable
i didnt say it was offensive, just stating that they aren’t the 07 patriots

Yeah but everyone??
I think Atlanta is good but I didn’t know we were playing the ‘89 49ers. The Bears have maybe the best special teams in football and are putting up 26 pts a game. For a consensus of experts to pick one team… That’s including NFL network and everyone locally. I just think for a 3 pt spread, that’s pretty rough
i posted elsewhere
but NFL insiders, Warren Sapps got the Bears back this week

I swear Mortensen had Atlanta
He changed his pick I see
I'm pretty sure they all picked the Steelers to win
didn’t they?

In a way Matt Ryan breaking our hearts last year kind of paved they way for us getting Cutler.
Had we won that game we would have more than likely made the playoffs thus never trading for Cutler, so in sick way Im kind of happy the way things transpired last year. But trust me I was NOT happy whatsoever after that game in fact I almost killed this guy who was messing with me the whole game at the bar. But as they say hindsight is 20/20.

I'm a little
nervous about this one.I don’t think we’ve seen the “real” Bears yet.The comeback wins were great but we had some breaks going for us.I think it will be an uncomfortably tight game.
We shall see.

even though
the bears seem to not play as well in night games, i expect they will play very well sunday night. the falcons did improve on o though but i’m looking forward to (hopefully) a real pass rush against them this time.
This Is Going To Be A Tough One.
I dread my I Predict coluum this week. We are so depleated at Linebacker I’m afraid we are going to turn,(Turner), and Burn. They have so many weapons on Offense, including Gonzalez who was not part of the team last Year. This game will be a shootout and I hope the Bears outscore them. I would lay a bundle on the over of let’s say 47.
Looking back...
The under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings, and 4-0 the last 4 games in ATL. Falcs are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 home games. Bears are 0-4-1 in the last 5 games as a road underdog, but 4-1 against the spread in the overall last 5 games.

It'll be refreshing
compared to the 88 different “why didn’t we pursue XX WR for every draft pick we’ll ever have” debates… and I’m very curious as to what a “coluum” is.

What Is A Coluum?
A coluum is a pre-draft of a column. Once the pre-draft is complete it becomes a column. Let me know if you need anymore unique insights. Thank you.
My guess for a "coluum' would have been...
…an opinionated article written by this guy!
