Benson is at it again

Former Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson is once again running his mouth. for those who don't feel like reading the article via the link, this should sum up what Benson believes about the Bears... oh and he says it's not personal.

“I heard all the rumors that were said coming out of Chicago,” Benson said. “Even the Bengals told me all the things, that they would call and inquire about me and get nothing but negative things. Just that I didn’t work hard, that I was I guess a prima donna or I didn’t work hard on the field, just wasn’t focused, just anything negative that they could say, it was said. I’m sure that contributed largely to me not getting picked up right away.”

He was talking to media in the offseason/early season about how the Bears messed up by cutting him… so again

Funny

He was talking about how he would easily have had 2000 yards with the Bears offensive line last year :-P God I hate him.

He's an idiot.

From everything we heard in his rookie and sophomore seasons, everything he said in that interview was true. He was a prima donna, was not in top shape and was always complaining about something. Throw in his off the field shenanigans and he has nobody to blame but himself for the crap he went through here in Chicago.
And for all those fans that feel the Bears let one get away with Benson, he’s been a solid back for six games this year, that’s it.
Last year, he posted a 3.5 YPC in Cincinatti. This year, his yardage numbers are solid, but his 4.2 YPC with 4 TD’s are merely nice. He still can’t block very well and doesn’t have good hands. In terms of pure running performance, he’s the same guy he was in his first two years in the league, when he posted consecutive years with 4.1 YPC. The only difference is now he’s actually on an offense with talent and is getting more carries.
He was a bum in the Chi, and he’s an idiot if he doesn’t realize that.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

Cedric who???

Was that the wasted draft pick where the Bears got a buffet line connoisseur who pretended to be a running back? Hey cry baby, go fu@k yourself! Those of us who were waiting for you to do anything positive for the team that paid you all that money would like to have our money back now. Again, go fu^k yourself!

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

Benson

Needs to keep his mouth shut, and stop acting like a fool. He brought a lot of stuff on himself with his prima donna attitude and lack of production on the field.

Once we kicked him outta Chicago and Cincinnati picked him up, he figured he’d act humble and start working harder.

lol we blackballed him?

He was pretty good about doing that without us. His lackluster effort, inability to get along with the team, and penchant for getting arrested for the same crime twice in a month kind of did that.

it will come around

Benson’s season isn’t over yet, there is a lot of karma to reap.

I don't mind

Let Benson talk, bulletin board material for us. He is having a good year so let him talk until Briggs knocks his head off.

if only

If only Urlacher was in the middle for this game, wasn’t it Url that gave Benson a hit during practice that injured him – supposedly.

GOOD RIDDANCE

Benson was a bum as a bear. Now all of the sudden he’s done a few good things, and he starts running his mouth. He’s going to regret it when we go to cinci and turn out his lights. I cant wait to see that happen. Babycry benson, he’s partly to blame for the losing Jones. Jones was the man, but oh no, big babycry benson had to be the number 1 guy, so the bears give him his shot and what does that bum produce?? Absolutely NOTHING! Injured, no hard running, and a couple of arrests. What a true piece of crap….The only thing guaranteed is his weak ass will get injured soon, then he wont be talking all this blackball madness. Talk Is Cheap

We will see how all his running his mouth translates onto the football field Sunday. A person of reasonable intelligence would have kept his mouth shut and let his performance speak for itself. Now Sir Cedric The Clown has once again backed himself into a corner.

Benson is tearing it up

Quit hating on the guy, he got cut by the bears and now he is playing quite well. I would be hating too if I got the boot. He deserves to talk trash all he wants. I think trash talk makes the sport a little more interesting, if you disagree go shop at banana republic and go sip some tea. This is football, the most aggressive sport, it can come with aggressive talking too.
