letdown in every way....
Its just about halftime in cincinnati and I have never felt so letdown in every way. I have never been so frustrated at the bears since I can remember. the difference is for me, is if you look at paper, we are sitting pretty good with our roster. but when it comes time to play we just cant do anything. I know cincinnati is okay this year, but 21-0 and as i am typing this devin hester fumbles on a pass play! what more do I have to say. Its not fun being a Bears fan.

technically wrong I suppose
I always turn to the sports section first. The sports page records people's accomplishments; the front page has nothing but man's failures.

With all the WR FA talk...
the WR’s look like one the best parts of this team. The o-line is so bad its pathetic. The secondary is a close 2nd.
You Hit The Nail On The Head!
I am so embarrassed by my prediction I haven’t had the courage to respond to my own post yet. The Offensive line is PATHETIC! 4 man rush with 6 blockers and Cutler is throwing off his back. And I will again reiterate what I sated before the season started. Lovie Smith’s Cover 2 Defense has been EXPOSED! It’s not so much the players but the sceme. Throw underneath it or over the top down the middle. The Bears little Bear defenders will find you in space when they are out of position and tackle you at some point. This is complete and utter BullSh*t!
Please fire this pathetic coaching staff
and hire Chucky before the redskins do. I am so tired of watching the Bears get out coached. I am just as tired of hearing Lovie’s “we are just gonna have to play better” excuses. That embarrassment that you showed today is unacceptable. Thanks for ruining my week.
How much worse do the Bears have to get...
before the coaches suffer the consequence of what they are bringing to the field every week? I can’t say Turner did a bad job because Lovie did such an awful job with the defense that the offensive game plan was completely useless anyway. One more way Lovie has pushed this team further down.
If the Bears do not dominate next week, these guys have to go. I can appreciate that the fan base is pissed off; they are right in being that angry. But if the Bears cannot beat one of the 3 worst teams in the NFL, then Lovie and the management have to go. There could be no other reasonable course of action.

HEAD COACH
i dont think gruden is the answer, or shano. we need someone in the mould of rex ryan. someone who could lite a fire under players who are under performing. whats his brother doing
i totally agree Gruden has done NOTHING
dont give me the b.s. he won a superbowl we all know gruden won with Tony Dungys team want proof? what did he do after that year?
IF were to fire lovie we would need to do our homework on an assitant not grab a big name guy.
i still beleive in lovie i agree with LOSTINSTL if we dont flat out dominate next AT HOME mind you theres problems
Any body else think we missed tommie today? it hurt to watch them punch it up the gut on us all day

One of my favorite sayings is...
“When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging!”. While I don’t think Lovie’s lack of outward emotion makes the Bears soft, I do think his lack of ability to draft properly sized or tough players does! And let’s not give the coaches the Urlacher excuse. Many of the same people were saying how great the Bears depth was at LB. Nick Roach was not the blame magnet for this loss. I believe that Lovie no longer has anyone’s attention. He might go on to have success elsewhere, but I just do not see how he can right this ship. I liken this to Joe Torre; he had simply come to the end of his run with the Yankees. He was not a bad coach/manager, he had simply lost his voice. It’s a lot easier to change out a coaching staff than it is to fire 53 guys and start an new roster!

Enough of blaming the cover two ...
You can’t blame formations. Formations don’t play football. People play football. Every formation has its strengths once you execute correctly. We’re just badly coached …. pure and simple. Today was the punctuation mark behind that.
