Sorry, I know this is probably the case with almost every team in the league, but somehow it still rankles. Once they started tuning him out (not long after the strike), his effectiveness as a coach for the team was effectively over. I know what you mean about passion on the sidelines, but many of the best coaches today don’t really act any differently – look at Tomlinson, etc. They really have that blank look down pat – it’s what said behind closed doors that makes all the difference. If Lovie’s lost the team, thenllook out below – it will remind me a lot of the ’87 season.
