Bears need a running attack and have to win all the games against the bad teams
It seems by now Matt Forte is never going to regain the flash he showed last year. Is it time now the Chicago bears get a little desperate and try something else. Maybe Throw Devon hester in the back field and see what he can do. They could use him like the Steelersused Kordell Stewert some years ago. Devon Hester can show Chicago bear fans the unique Multi functional talent that got his that huge contract. the fact is both Hester and Forte are showing nothing in offensive flash. Not having a running attack is putting pressure on Jay Cutler and hurting the team. It was a mistake to get rid of both Thomas Jones and Cedric Bensonand rely on somebody who was unproven and only had one good year. What is Curtis Enis doing these days. this next game and some other ones against very beatable opponents are crucial. They cannot afford to have many losses as the Chcago Bearsseem uncapable of beating the good teams. To have any chance of even a nice 9-7 team like last year, the Bears have to win out right against the scrub teams like the Cleveland Browns this weekend. Wear your orange and support and cheer for them to destroy the brown wearing their best Sunday's orange jerseys. If the Bears don't win huge like the packers last week this will be a disappointment.

But wait....
I thought on a passing game will win a game.
Ok, take a deep breath, you really want Curtis Enis back? Really? Really?
Forte is seeing alot of “8” in the box early in the games, which the O-Line isn’t able to handle; Omiyale does a decent job for pass protection but isn’t pancaking d-lineman off the ball for runs, Kreitz has lost some of his luster at Center and Garza is servicable on the Right side but none of them are blowing holes open in the middle, which was Forte’s main avenue for running last years.
Add to this that alot of yards Forte gained from scrimmage last year was wheels, check downs, and screens, which he isn’t getting this year.
Forte isn’t the problem, IMHO, it is a combination of a bad O-Line and a QB that doesn’t look for check downs as much as Orton did.
That’s not true!!! WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU SAY THAT YOU AHOLE!! Ok maybe your right but you gotta give a little something here for it to work. I don’t know what I’m going to do this is the worst thing I’ve ever read, this day could not get any worse. Fine, F*ck it, you’re right.

Let's rephrase this
to – the Bears need a running attack and have to win all the games against good teams.

We should try audibling to
some alternate line schemes like the bengals did to us. That was one of the things that killed us last week. When they would stack one side of the line, and roach couldn’t get the adjustment made, benson would kill us and run for 10 yds or more everytime. we could put clark(or try kellen davis) and run TE G C G T T TE or something like that.

I was still wondering
if anyone had any ideas for an OC to pick up this offseason? It seemss to me that with what is happening with the bears someone is going down the road. Due to there respective contract situations I’m pretty sure it is not going to be the HC or GM. So, more than likely, it will be Ron turner. Again, the question i pose, is who we should replace him with? Maybe his brother?

Well, since you didn't think
that Devon would be a good WR…
devon Hester will never be Marcus Robinson
He is too short and is or make that was only good for kickoff returns. He can’teven do that right now

…then I reckon we might as well throw him in the backfield, eh?

How many?
How many good years do you need in order to be considered “proven”?
I have a feeling he’s playing hurt and no one is talking.(Forte)

I've got a better idea...
There’s a guy on our team currently averaging 4 ypc, in Atl he was at 11.3 ypc with a 30 run, and in Det he scored a rushing TD :P

sky is falling, much?
Please…we couldn’t keep thomas jones because he wanted more money and benson wanted the ball and was already making big money. We definitely couldn’t keep benson, he was clubhouse cancer and was arrested twice in a month for the same damn thing. It is easy to say oh look jones and benson are doing well now so we shouldve kept them. Ever notice how guys who have played well come to the bears and suck and guys who suck with the bears leave and seem to “magically” get better, yeah, that is the coaching. No personnel changes need made, it starts at the top and that is the gm/hc/coordinators.

if the line is stacked...
call quick slant passes, screens, etc. our line is bad at run blocking, so until we get fewer 8 and 9 man fronts, we’re not going to succeed running the ball. but if we do some quick dink and dunks (and we should have no problem doing this), the fronts will go away. i remember the patriots doing this in a game against baltimore (maybe?) a few years back…they knew they weren’t going to have much of a chance running the ball, so they had brady throw every time – the short stuff was available, and they ended up having a hell of a game on offense. we need to do the same. a 6 yard pass is a good run, but we can actually get off a lot of those passes, but not the runs.
