Crabtree just signed...

with the 49ers. That team was playing well without him. I hope he doesn’t get his act together and have that rookie breakout game at home against the Bears. I think it usually takes a few weeks to get a WR into the flow of an offense and he has talent. Let’s just see how well his foot has healed and how hard he’s gonna work. It could be a disaster for the 49ers, but I think Singletary has that team’s heart right now and Crabtree is going to have to put his head down and just play.

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

by LostInSTL on Oct 7, 2009 7:32 AM CDT reply actions

did he just sign really?

At first i thought there would be no way he would sit out an entire regular season game and it turns out he sat out 4 lol. Did he really think he would reenter the draft after a year of not playing football and still be a top 10 first round pick? Can you say…crack? Either way. it’s gonna take him a while to catch on because he has not done anything with the niners and i just don’t see him breaking out against us. He’ll be lucky if he see’s the field in the next few weeks at all.

Hope he tears his ACL walking into the locker room for day 1 of practice. What a chump

You must hate the 49ers

Man, right after they pay the guy who has been sitting out preseason and 4 games, you wish they’re multimillion dollar man wouldn’t even make it to the practice field. Wow. Ouch!

After I posted I thought about it and realized that it is screwing SF more than screwing him. He is everything that is wrong with the league and the rookie contract system. I actually like the Niners and am envious of the passion their coach has at times…

As a player, how do you try to play next to someone that blatantley thinks their sh*t don’t stink and they are better than everyone else in that locker room. So I rephrase. I hope the contract is incentive based, and the Crabtree tears his ACL and gets the minimum out of it. Better?

by brands735 on Oct 7, 2009 11:48 AM CDT up reply actions

Singletary has done an amazing job fixing that team up over the last year.

If Crabtree is a quick learner, they will be even more dangerous than they have already been.

Diehard Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.

No band-wagoner fans allowed, pick a team and stick with em, throughout the good and the bad.

: )

It is nice to see that the Bears hype machine got some things right this year. Rod Marineli was the biggest free agent acquisition, the QB does make the WR, they did have 6 starting quality LB’s on the roster, and Devin Hester could be a #1. Devin still needs to do more of what he has done consistently, but he is showing the ability now.

Not unless
the QB does make the WR

your name is Kyle “freakin” Orton.

Kyle Orton

in his case he made the wide recievers look bad… so QB still makes the WR

You didn't see

Marshall’s game-winning TD pass? He made Kyle look good on his questionable pass that should’ve been intercepted, or at least knocked down by Newman.

or at least

a tackle by any of the 9 members of the Cowboys defense

The Cowboys looked pathetic there...

FIVE people couldn’t tackle him? They just stood there and let him run by them.

Hopefully

after 4 wins, the football gods, were just playing an early april fools joke, and have them collapse, like last year

Let's see

what the Pats have in store for their defense. I think they could easily drop 3 of the next 4 games, since their competition dramatically increases.

come into play?

how is the 4-0 colts taking on the 0-4 Titans a sunday night showdown? when you have ATL and SF, and NE and DEN?

we have the makings

to be a top 5 team… running games needs more consistancy and the defense needs to start off stronger and maintain.
