NightLink II: Looking at Thursday

Wcg_thumb_link_medium
Just some quick notes to throw out your way this evening... all (except one) centered around the game Thursday.

Mike Singletary says that the Bears will always be a team he loves, and talks about the emotions of playing us.

TE Vernon Davis says that the SF offense will destroy the Bears defense up front.

And Brad Biggs tweets that former Bear WR Mike Hass was cut from the Seahawks.

And just a side note, Al Afalava did not practice today... we may very well see Craig Steltz this Thursday.

Based on the past few weeks

Vernon Davis is right except for anyone on the line being an impact player. Hopefully they take that comment to heart

I'm not Vernon should have given up that Bullentin Board Material

Why did he just call out Brown’s Mama why he was at.

That’s not true!!! WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU SAY THAT YOU AHOLE!! Ok maybe your right but you gotta give a little something here for it to work. I don’t know what I’m going to do this is the worst thing I’ve ever read, this day could not get any worse. Fine, F*ck it, you’re right.

Do you think Singletary...

will throw the game…just to help his old team?

Jake is right, we did have a band powerful enough to turn goat piss into gasoline.

Yeah

And monkeys might fly out my butt!

If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.

If he does, he’s not the Samurai Mike we all know and love.

(In other words, monkeys would have to fly out of Just Dave’s butt.)

From what I've seen

is that when the 49ers get ahead they usually sit back and stop playing, so the bears have a really good chance to win this since we let other teams get ahead.

If you want to crown em...

Yea but we should try to get ahead early

So our Defense can be more agressive and our Offense more relaxed

Craig Steltz?

Why wouldn’t Kevin Payne slide in at SS?

by Poloplaya14 on Nov 10, 2009 10:27 PM CST reply actions

He’s hurt as well. Didn’t practice Tuesday.

Brad Biggs reports that Josh Bullocks is pencilled in at SS if Afalava and Payne don’t recover in time. Steltz seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.

He just says that

Bullocks could be the next guy up, not that he’s penciled in.

Hopefully, Afalava can go though… it’s odd they never said what his MRI showed.

I said he was pencilled in, not inked in.

As a Niner fan...

…I just want to wish you guys good luck, it will be a great game.

This match-up

begs for a “STOP THE RUN” game-plan…as an addendum to that, stop Vernon Davis—otherwise let the SF QBs TRY to go through the air…

Our passing attack is superior to theirs, so THIS might be a good game to attack primarily through the air…

As for Vern talking trash…Bears haven’t been able to find any motivation within themselves, so maybe they can get it from outside source…wherever it comes from (won’t be the coach!), they need it.

Singletary

Damn do I miss that guy!! He was an animal on the field. That sound byte about this being his kind of party is the best sound byte ever.

+1

Singletary is the poster child of someone born to do something.

He was born to football.
