NightLink: Payne Out, Afalava Questionable

Wcg_thumb_link_medium
If Al Afalava cannot play tomorrow, we will see either Craig Steltz or Josh Bullocks step in, because Kevin Payne has been officially ruled out.

Now that the official injury report has been filed with the league, we know the Bears could be in trouble at the safety position Thursday night against the 49ers.  Safety Kevin Payne is listed as out with a back injury. The good news is safety Al Afalava is questionable with a shoulder injury.

We need Afalava's run support against the Niners, especially with Hunter Hillenmeyer still nursing his rib injuries.  I am not sure what Bullocks would bring to the table, but Steltz could at least do a decent job in run support.  Luckily, we aren't facing a team that is likely to challenge us with the deep ball.

Ok that is it...

Find out who but the hex on this team and pay them whatever they want. The Bears started this year with 53 player and we will end with 22 bodies that are still breathing if this keeps up.

That’s not true!!! WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU SAY THAT YOU AHOLE!! Ok maybe your right but you gotta give a little something here for it to work. I don’t know what I’m going to do this is the worst thing I’ve ever read, this day could not get any worse. Fine, F*ck it, you’re right.

Not sure Dane
Luckily, we aren’t facing a team that is likely to challenge us with the deep ball.

If Gore runs well against us, and there’s a pretty good chance of that happening, I think the Niners will in fact challenge us deep with VD and Morgan.

People who don’t care don’t respond, and people who do care do respond. Does that make sense Bronco fans trying to validate the trade?

I'm actually banking on

a good pass rush tomorrow. Don’t really know why, but I just have a feeling.

Where are you at in that picture??

I have a picture almost identical to that when I was in Costa Rica, same backdrop and everything.

well..

this tends to happen when you draft late all the time..if you’re a solid picker in the 1st and second rounds(ala Steelers) you tend not to pick up the injury prone people..unless you’re the bears drafting a LT who has back problems 14th overall. :) but it seems like a lot of the time our late rounders generally have a high upside but have had major injury issues before..with the exception of afalava as far as i know.

sometimes on short weeks,

RB have better games, dont know why that is, but it seems to happen alot. If Forte can finally break out and have a decent game, we do stand a chance to get a win.

Eat. Sleep. Pray. Watch chicago play.

P.S.

You've obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a shit about what you think.

Don't forget

Gore’s on a short week too. Let’s hope that only works for the right team.

After hardly getting used

last week. Lets hope that Forte is better rested. I think he breaks some screen passes tonight. Fingers crossed.
