LOL

"A lot of fans were drawn to me because they knew that whatever the score was, I was going to run as hard as I could on every play. You don't have that now, you have guys waiting for next week or even next year." - Walter Payton

Oh Man... what could have been.

When I look back at these two stunning first round picks, even though it’s really not even worth getting into, but its fun to think what could have been…

Pick #14 = Mike Haynes
or
Pick #16 = Troy Polamalu

Pick #22 = Rex Grossman
or
Pick #31 = Nnamdi Asomugha (but the Bears did get Tillman w/ the #35 pick, so no real hard feelings there)
but also they could have reached for…
Pick #54 = Anquan Boldin

Then Briggs was selected w/ the 68th pick… I guess Grossman was a good pick at the time, the Bears desperately needed a QB and he was a great college player, but thats the fun of looking back at old drafts… we know now how bad they will turn out!

But Pick of the Draft obviously… Chuck Rogers over Andre Johnson.
