Former Bears Coach Dick Jauron Fired In Buffalo
The Bills continue to clean house in Buffalo, as head coach Dick Jauron was reportedly fired this afternoon.
The Buffalo Bills have fired coach Dick Jauron, a team source told NFL Network's Jason La Canfora.
Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is expected to become the Bills' interim head coach, a Bills source told NFL.com's Vic Carucci.
In just short of four seasons with the Bills, Jauron compiled a record of 24-33 (.421 winning percentage). The Bills failed to make the playoffs in each season under Jauron. Buffalo has not made the playoffs since 1999, tied with the Lions for the longest active streak for a non-expansion team.

It’s about time. Jauron seems to be a nice guy but a bad coach – if you define a good coach as one who wins.
Never fear, rumor has it that Jauron has already lined up the lead role as Skeletor in the remake of He-Man.

Perry Fewell
Why does that name sound familiar? Was he on Jauron’s staff when he was with the Bears?
If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
Now I remember (not that anyone cares)
Fewell was our DB’s coach a few years back. Another branch of the great Lovie Smith coaching tree (picture a weeping willow).
If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
Yeah that's him.
DB’s coach by day and that by night.
If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
This is the Headline I am waiting on . . .

That is a scary resembelence
Jaurons pick is on the side right next to this in an ad for SB Nation and it is spot on.
his specialty, like lovie's,
was sticking with inept and/or crapass assistant coaches for way wayyyy too long. i know most of us still remember the good ol’ john shoop days. makes me almost glad we have ron turner. well not really but you get the idea.

haha
shoop is the OC at UNC now. he’s done a decent job, but he calls a hella lot of screens and running up the middle. occasionally you’ll see the RB do a forward pass or something.
Oh, and every formation is exactly the same on running plays. no variety. the FB/TE almost always goes in motion.
Oh Dick Jauron ...
i remember this song from back in the day …

My buddy bet 20 bucks
That the Bills would be in the playoffs this year. And now I’m 20 dollars richer.
