QuickHits: Bears-style
We got a couple of things to bring your way this afternoon...
Center Olin Kreutz returned to work this afternoon, after missing the first two days of practice this week, but Desmond Clark remains sidelined. And not only is he still sidelined, he may miss Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Also, from the Bears vs NBC silliness that has been a focus of interest, the team issued a statement this afternoon.
"Nobody had any issues on either side," Bears spokesman Scott Hagel said. "We love working with NBC, and we love having our games on national television. NBC and the Bears have always been on the same page."
The issue arose after the network informed the Bears of a planned piece on Cutler's rocky season, and how expectations were so high at the beginning of the year. NBC wanted to speak with the quarterback, Smith and Angelo for the segment.
"What else is left to be said about the subject?" Hagel said. "We just need to play better."

Wonder how many times
We’ll hear Collingsworth mention that Sunday night…I bet somewhere around eleventy-billion times.

Well I for one
am glad I won’t have to see some stupid piece about how much Jay sucks. All of us Bear fans know what this season has been like and don’t need an interview about it. I’m upset enough that I have to watch Gollum talk about how much we suck and then show a play to back it up.

NBC=
No Bears Channel
I hate Collinsworth. He loves the Bears one day, hates them the next.
Last year Matt Forte was the second coming of Payton, now all of a sudden he is chopped liver cause our OLine can’t open a jar of pickles let alone a hole for him to run through? How about protect your QB? Jay has been on his back more times this year than Pam Anderson.
I’d like to see a QB like Peyton Manning throw from behind that horses*it line and see how he does…
I am just sick of NBC talking nothing but smack about our squad. I hope they get constructive instead of just asking Jay why he sucks so bad this year.
I got your back Jay, but Lovie has to GO.

Collinsworth was
anti-bears every time they made the playoffs, and even more so on the way to the Super Bowl. He really just has it out for them.

Well at least with Peyton Manning
You wouldn’t have to worry about Ron Turner fu*king up the calls. Cause he pretty much calls his only plays.

Screw NBC
AND Chris Collinsworth—hate both of ’em.
Keith Olberwoman makes it a perfect trifecta of putridity.
He, more than anything, makes the SNF Show completely unwatchable anyway, like everything else on that craptastic network (except for the actual games themselves).
Otherwise, NBC = Needlessly Biased Crap

Hey
I like the Office. And Community. And…well…I watch those two.

Heroes?
And what about that one season of Studio 60 – that show was smart funny?

Don't all networks
have an agenda… And isn’t everything biased? People typically call things biased when it’s against their personal agendas. Generally speaking, of course.

what does NBC expect?
You try to make a piece about how terrible a person’s season is going and expect them to make a comment about it? Get out of here.
Collinsworth is growing on me. I hated him at first, but maybe it’s hearing him so much in Madden 10(where he kisses the virtual Cutler’s ass) thats made me change my mind.
Now Tory Aikman, Yeesh. He could not stop hating on the Bears.

haha
i know right
same reason collinsworth is less despised by me now, all the pro-jay lines in that game when i throw for yet another awesome TD. clearly lovie needs to fire up some madden so he can see the PA power O throw to olsen or hester rollout works a lot online.

NBC
just wants to rub it in the faces of the fans, coaches, and players, etc. Finally, good judgment shown by the Bears brass.

Maybe if Dez is out Sunday
we can reduce the amount of two tight end sets we are running. Why not run three WR sets and get Aroma in the mix a bit.

That makes sense
We definately need to start mixing things up and trying different formations. It probably can’t get much worse.

I hope JC plays lights out
Then sends Collinsworth a signed photo after the game for all the anti-Jay comments I am sure will be coming during broadcast.
