Key Player to keep an eye on: LeSean McCoy
via hawkfantasysports.files.wordpress.com
Yes I know Philly is not famous for running the football, and yes I know that Brian Westbrook is out for Sunday's night must win game. So why is LeSean McCoy this week Key player to keep an eye on? Remember how some of us was so concern with Fitzgerald and Boldin a week ago, yet we get steam rolled by Hightower and Wells? The same thing can happen this Sunday night if the Bears don't account for the run. LeSean McCoy is a very good runner and receiving threat out of the backfield. Even though he is a rookie, he is capable of putting animpact on the game. For the Bears defense to contain Philly explosive offense, they are going to have to make them one dimensional by shutting down McCoy. If the Bears get too concern with Desean Jackson and Jermey Maclin on the outside, then the Bears can get embarrassed on Sunday Night football for third time this season.

good call
as i imagine the bears getting torched once again through the air sunday night, the emphasis needs to be stop the run (as usual) to have a chance to win. this guy is good and i hope they can keep this guy from doing too much damage.

The Bears actually rank 8th
in average passing yards per game. They rank 21st in average rushing yards per game. Not that these numbers particularly mean anything, and I’d have to really dig into it to see how the outliers of the Bengals and Cardinals cames affect it, but, cursory glance tells me that i’d rather they throw it than eat up the clock and wear out an already thin defense.

I wrote this hastily early this morning.
A brief glance at NFL.com stats is what gave me the info, so I’ll just apologize now for when it’s eventually wrong.

I agree...
He was #1 on my Bearprint over on Sporting News this week. I don’t think they’ll atler their offense at all, McCoy will get a bunch of touches.
