Philadelphia Eagles VS. Chicago Bears

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears, Nov 22, 2009 7:20 PM CST

I don't even know what to make of the Bears any longer, but they need to put together a big win streak.  With Minnesota twice, Baltimore, and one more versus the Packers, it is getting a bit hard to seeing the Bears make magic happen. They certainly have talent at a lot of positions, but the offensive line needs to be completely retooled, and they need to figure out how to tighten up the secondary.

The Bears are welcoming the high flying Philadelphia Eagles, and it is not a good thing to think of McNabb, Jackson and Maclin against our banged up secondary.   Al Afalava is expected to play, but Kevin Payne is listed as doubtful.  On the Philly side Brian Westbrook is out and pretty much their entire secondary is either out or coming off of an injury.

As I've said before,

the Eagles are 3rd in the NFL with 15 interceptions. This could be ugly.

Must win

Falcons lost 49ers lost so we got some help but if we win well be back in it for the wild card. With Westbrook being out i believe we have a chance to win it but Cutler needs a good game with no Turnovers

by BEARSFAN19 on Nov 22, 2009 3:46 PM CST reply actions

Do you honestly

believe this Bears team of ours should go to the Playoffs in any fashion? I don’t want to pile on the stack here and I don’t want us to lose out or even go worse than .500 but a miraculous playoff appearance could give Lovie and Turner more time and I think the less time they have the better.

by emdub on Nov 22, 2009 3:50 PM CST reply actions

I agree with you

I don’t think they deserve to be in the Playoffs they have played some horrific games but its tough as a fan to watch your team not make the playoffs. And im with you if we do make the playoffs Turner and Lovie will be here another year but its just tough

by BEARSFAN19 on Nov 22, 2009 3:57 PM CST reply actions

Gotta run out to the store but

I’m going to predict our opening offensive drive now. Open with a 2 yard run. Then a 1 yard run. Then a pass downfield to a wide open Devin Hester which he runs in for a touchdown which is then brought back on a holding call on Chris Williams. Then a beautiful punt that pins then behind the 10 yard line and our defense, which is pretty damn offensive of late, takes over. You heard it here first.

by emdub on Nov 22, 2009 4:22 PM CST reply actions

my prediction

Turner listens to me and puts Izzy in at FB, he scores 10 tds receiving, 9 rushing and 4 kick return TDs. The defense holds them to -546 yards and in the end we win 324 to -123

Raiders DID beat the Bengals.

Oakland 20, Cincinnati 17

Cincinnati gave up a touchdown with about 20 seconds left, then fumbled the ensuing kickoff away. After that, the game, essentially, was over.

Did you see Tommie on the TD?

After getting blocked and redirected he’s running, err, jogging after McNabb as the play is 10 yards in his rearview mirror. How can anyone respect the talent evaluation when he signs a huge contract and they trade a 2nd rounder for a guy who can’t even get on the field for a shitty defense?

Seriously when they just showed Lovie

It looked like he was lost and didnt know where he was at

by T.Moore on Nov 22, 2009 8:20 PM CST up reply actions

cutler seems rattled and clueless

On the previous series he overthrew 2 sure tds perhaps because he was worried about an int. Then in the red zone he throughs into double coverage. He has mental issues. Not quite firing on the right cylinders.

by Duck99 on Nov 22, 2009 8:22 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

Is it mental or is he just not in a good rhythm?

If he was allowed to throw down field more he would probably have better accuracy.

by Acapulco Taco Pie on Nov 22, 2009 8:23 PM CST up reply actions

if he throws an int

I’m getting on a plane and ill strangle the mf

by Duck99 on Nov 22, 2009 8:19 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Yeah yeah yeah people

Cutler could have thrown a TD to his other target.

Cutler could have thrown a pick too.

Let’s give thanks, this Thanksgiving week, for small favors.

The good news is there is a Chicago

Team playing a big game in 30 minutes and they have a great chance at winning a championship. That would be the Blackhawks.
