I just wanted to get this started again
I have one of Wolfe and Idonije created as well with Idonije paving the waywhich reminded me of these contests. Post as many as you like and the one with the most recs will win. Contest ends next Friday (after niners game) if people want lots on time.

what photoshop program do you use? i’m in the market for one

I use Adobe Photoshop.

And fwiw...
Adobe PS is pretty expensive, probably ranging from $5-700 depending on where you get it from. If you’re willing to invest the time and money, it’s second to none.
However, I’ve heard Gimp is a pretty good alternative. I’ve never used it, but friends have told me that it has the functionality of Photoshop 7 (they’re now on CS4 or 11). It’s open source and the best part, it’s completely free.

maybe it is because
I’ve always used Photoshop, but every time I attempt to use GIMP things don’t run the way I want. There is also an online editing tool that I’ve never really messed with, but have heard good things about called Aviary.

No. I downloaded that from school.
Actually if you know anyone who goes to Indiana University you can download all the adobe software for free but I can’t anymore because I graduated. I bought CS3 a couple years before they offered it.
