but the only way we win this game is if we play flawless on all three phases…. oh and ball control to keep there offense off the field…. But the real key will be line play…

I hate all things ron, jerry, bob, and finally...... Lovie!!!

Arizona is really good

but only sometimes. Depends which Cardinals team we see… and we NEED to get pressure on Warner.

Their offense can be great. We need to keep two guys shadowing Fitz and make Breaston beat us; I think if Bolding plays it will only be part of the game.

We can score on their defense if our offensive line can give us at least a second more than last week …. baby steps

I got the Bears in the “Underacheivers Bowl”. Both 4-3 if i’m not mistaken. We are who they think we are, Right?

I thought we were in serious trouble

and we may still be. After AZ’s performance last week however, I’m feeling a bit more hopeful. And I’d really, really like some revenge since those bastards knocked me out of the survival league last week with Warner’s “epic” performance. I think we’re gonna see of lot of nickel defense this week.Well, you all will at least. I get to watch the Bucs pursue their second winless season in franchise history. Yay?

Its time for special teams to win us another game.

It looks like Hester has turned the corner on Punts and lets just keep Knox back on Kicks, I dont want to see too much more of Manning, not that hes bad, I just like the Knox/Hester 1-2 punch. And then on the coverage units for special teams I would like to see them force a fumble, those are game breakers. As long as Maynard keeps em inside the 10 yard line instead punting them only 10 yards were good there.

Well to be cut from the same cloth as Madden wouldnt be such a bad thing.

Never once did he have a losing season as Head Coach, not too shabby.

There is no way we win this game!!!!! If we struggled against the Bengals,we will struggle with Warner, Boldin, and Larry, Fitz.

Dont forget how the field conditions can affect players that arent used to playing here.

Like every year the Saints come to town, its not so easy to get in and out of your cuts playing here.

that the Cards O and D-lines are worse than the Bengals. If we can get a little pressure on Warner he’ll turn the ball over.

the cubs are a mess

and i’m so annoyed with the way everyone’s reacted to the bradley crap, i don’t even want to claim the cubs as my team. not that he was perfect… but people treated him like shit before he’d even played a game. it was ridiculous.

and i hate the idea of resigning and depending on harden… but with lilly having surgery i just don’t see a way hendry doesn’t get talked into it.

but i probably won’t pay a whole lot of attention to baseball’s offseason until pitchers & catchers report…. and then probably not again until opening day.

I don't see a lot changing

since the team will look the same next year, with the same issues as last season. The outfield is a mess, no lefties, bad infield defense, questionable middle-relief, etc. IMO- another 83 games looks like it’s in the books.

I am more concerned about our defense in this game...

I just don’t see us stopping Fitzgerald and Bouldin in the seams of the Cover 2 and there’s no way Lovie has the corners playing up on them. The slants could be open all day and these two guys will kill you on those plays. Warner is the wild card. He’s capable of the games like last week, but then he’s just as capable of being as accurate a passer as there is in the NFL. If that guy shows up, it could be a Cincinatti performance again.

Bottom line is, I don’t have a lot of confidence in our coaches to match up to theirs, on either side of the ball.

by BearFan611 on Nov 5, 2009 7:34 AM CST reply actions

If Boldin plays, he is not 100%. We have to bracket Fitz

by brands735 on Nov 5, 2009 8:16 AM CST up reply actions

If Boldin plays

A 50-75% Boldin >>> Bowman, Vasher, or whoever else we have guarding him.

I want to Say Bears but...

That damn Tampa 2 is going to kill us this game. Unless we straight double team their receivers and leave no safety help.

by TheMan1 on Nov 5, 2009 9:46 AM CST reply actions

I think this is almost another "must win" for the Bears

Looking ahead, the schedule might be a little tougher in the second 1/2 – given the fact that we’ve still got to play Minnesota, twice.

We need to go at least 6-3 the rest of the way, in order to have a realistic shot at making the playoffs as a wild card – and that loss to Atlanta could really come back to bite us in the arse.

They seem match up well against us, with big, physical receivers. If we don’t get enough pressure on Warner, I don’t think we’re going to be able to stop them from making big plays down the field.

Bears

maybe a homer pick but I think having home field will be a big help. looking for the Bears in a squeaker, 27-24.

have to run the ball well enough to keep the cards off balance and their O off the field. with no running game this will be over at halftime. but I’m optimistic I guess…

by Ortons Neckbeard on Nov 5, 2009 11:46 AM CST reply actions

Bears by 3 or less

IMO this is going to be a nail-biter that comes down to a last minute defensive stop/turnover/punt return/hail mary/ or Gould FG.

Of course our DL will have to get pressure on Warner, if not that it will be Cincinatti 2.0, but I don’t think that the Cardinals’ OL is as good as the Bengals’ OL.

We should have to put 48 on the scoreboard to win(it wouldn’t hurt), I think if we can get into the 24-31 point range I feel we win the game…

Forte should be able to run on the Cardinals, which should open up the passing game allowing Cutler to see the field from his feet and not his back.

Knox will be more involved this week in the passing game along with Hester, who will do well on returns, giving us the field position advantage. Maybe he can even take one to the house!
