Still waiting for Chalk Talk
where Mayer tries to absolve Lovie of wrongdoing on the 2 TO debacle. Could be good.
Well Jay said he took the TO.
So that will be in the answer.

"Where not all of us believe in firing everyone."
Anyone who doesn’t believe in it, should be fired.
I am so glad I didn't see Lovie's post game conference
Or else i would of probably broke my 40" TV by throwing a PS3 controller right at his stupid mug.
And thrown your iPhone
at your Porsche’s windshield? :)

I’ll be in Frankfurt for a few days in February… so I’m sure I’ll feel your pain.

Trent Dilfer thinks we should keep Smith
I now hate Trent Dilfer.
SJS_illini thinks Trent Dilfer fits right in with the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network.

He thinks Lovie Smith is a good coach.
I am sold that Ron Rivera got us to the SB not Lovie Smith. I wouldn’t mind if they brought him back to be the head coach.
There's a good reason I don't watch ESPN often.
I find very little of their insight actually insightful… mostly inciteful.

I was on espn.com
and it started playing. It kinda ticked me off.
Lovie's System Sucks!
It’s not a good fit for the Bears or its fans.

Don't forget Brandon
another mistake by the management.
Trent Dilfer
is a loser who won a SB thanks to Ray Lewis and that raven D.He’s with ESPN so he’s a bonafide idiot.
way ahead of you on hating dilfer

Jesus, Lovie!!! WTF!!!
Does this quote from Lovie scare the crap out of anyone else? You don’t think it should have anything to do with the upcoming year, eh?
While the Bears have fallen far short of expectations this season, Smith doesn’t think that things necessarily have to get worse before they get better.
"I see us not being able to take care of some things this year," he said. "This is an individual season. You look at it by itself. It shouldn’t have a lot to do with the upcoming year. But right now we’re disappointed in where we are right now for this year."

yeah...and the last two seasons where we missed the playoffs were "individual seasons" too, making it 3 yeas in a row....
THAT’S CALLED A TREND!!!! YOU A$$HOLE!

He don't care
He is getting paid either way.
Sometimes these coaches,
have to say things to the media that they don’t really believe either. That’s why the Bears employ PR people to help their employess with what they are going to say. I think we call it “coach speak” and yes we get a lot of it from Lovie.
Doesn't make sense to keep this structure intact
I know, I know Lovie and Angelo still have years on their contracts. However, there is no benefit in keeping these guys around trying to pick players and develop them with the bang up job they had done so far. It would be like throwing money away. But with the right staff and GM the Bears can be back in the playoff by picking up a few quality inexpensive and 1 prize catch free agent.
If the Bears Org decide to go forward with the current staff. I know I won’t be watching the Bears in 2010 with no faith in this staff to correct things.
I think with the roster we have now
We can make the playoffs. Just need a coaching staff that will make players accountable for their mistakes, and correct them. Not just look dumb founded and not knowing whats going wrong.
Thanks Dane. :]
"A lot of fans were drawn to me because they knew that whatever the score was, I was going to run as hard as I could on every play. You don't have that now, you have guys waiting for next week or even next year." - Walter Payton
