Bears Making Roster Moves

Typically, teams will start doing some shuffling of their rosters towards the end of the season, be it due to injuries, or to see what sort of talent may be available for the following season. The Bears seem to be doing a little bit of both.
As Charles Tillman (who is still hospitalized today) and Israel Idonije are both being placed on the season-ending Injured Reserve, the team is expected to promote Woodney Turrene and Brett Basanez to the 53 man roster, per Vaughn McClure's Twitter page.
Also, Eric Peterman has been re-signed to the team's practice squad.

Update: Rookie WR Juaquin Iglesias will be active in Detroit.

Why the hell would you promote Basanez?
That’s retarded. Are they planning to only play Cutler for a half?
Promote a guy who you plan on at least activating for the friggin game.

Only thing I can think of
is they are afraid of losing him…..but that would not make sense…..Course with these guys I guess it would…..

How bout’ promoting DJ Moore to the active roster??
We’re banged-up in the secondary, we’ve never seen Moore play, we know Basanez will be a career back-up (at best), and we haven’t even seen much of Hanie.
Hence, Lovie is an idiot. Here he continues to provide ample evidence of that (in case there are some people out there that somehow haven’t figure that out yet).

Iglesias is going to be unleashed with 8 catches for 175 yards and 2 TDs…..OK thats what I did with him in Madden 10….but still…..
