Charlie Weiss "interested" in the Bears
We have seen the postings on WCG and ran through the scenarios, debated them and continue watching Ron Turner castrate this offense.
So lets throw another log on the rumor fire. While visions of Ron Turners firing dance like sugarplums in our heads and we eagerly await Virginia (McCaskey) to tell us whether she believes in a Santa for the fans this year. (Pun intended on Weiss's waistline)
Charlie would be "interested" in the OC job reports the Sun Times.

Look at his nfl resume
1990 Giants Offensive assistent/special teams coach Super Bowl win
91-92 Giants Running Backs coach
93-96 Patriots RB/TE WR coach
97-99 Jets OC 98 Jets 4th in scoring
00-04 OC 3 Super Bowl wins
DIsregard college and you have an OC with 4 Super Bowl rings, how many does Ron Turner have?
Key Word: NFL resume
Well that’s actually two words and the one I actually meant was an acronym, but you get my point. LOL. Regardless, that is a good resume not matter what happened at ND.
Look at the offense he built at ND
His ultimate failing came on the defensive side of the ball. It’s like buying a state-of-the-art washer and pairing it with an old, used dryer from the 1980’s.

He has had a solid NFL career, but like it or not you cant just disregard his college career like it never happened
While the offense wasnt the problem most of the time, which does bode well for him, the red zone at least this year was definitely a BIG problem for the Irish and that is something the Bears already struggle with. And another big problem this year for ND was in fact his 1st half play calling, too many times would he run conservative plays only to open it up once we were already down 2 scores. ND was a team with a great QB, no running game, bad O Line and a bad defense. And Charlie would be coming to the exact same situation here. This is not New England, so you cant just say he will have the same success that he did with Bellicheck.
As an ND fan I really dont want him on this team, I just dont really like the cocky bravado he portrays as all ex patriots assitants seem to exude. I can see it now Cutler will throw 4 picks and all Charlie will have to say when asked is “I dont want to talk about this game, I want to talk about the next game, Im just looking forward.”
Now dont get me wrong he would be a HUGE pickup compared to Ron Turner, but if I got to choose I would rather have Kubiak from Houston, but I guess beggars cant be choosers.

Currently sean payton calls our plays
But if he was to get an offensive coordinater i would like to see Charlie Weiss in New Orleans there has been talk here of hiring an OC next year with payton overseeing him this would be a perfect fit
We'll see another few like that I'm sure.
This just in, formerly overpaid and now unemployed man wants work and tells everyone he’s interested. That is all.

Oh I am sure
We should get a pool going. Anyone? What team’s next, how many total, who’s better him or the mall Santa?
Can I get odds on the Raiders, Chiefs and Bills?

That's why I was asking for odds before I placed a bet. =D
Out of that group I’d take the Chiefs or Bills before the Raiders.
