With 46 underclassmen having been granted special eligibility, here's a breakdown of the top five college football players at each position heading into the 2009 NFL Draft:
Quarterbacks:
Matthew Stafford, Georgia
Mark Sanchez, USC
Josh Freeman, Kansas St.
Nate Davis, Ball St
Rhett Bomar, Sam Houston St.
Offensive Tackles:
Jason Smith, Baylor
Eugene Monroe, Virginia
Andre Smith, Alabama
Micheal Oher, Mississippi
Eden Britton, Arizona

I just looked over Mayock’s WR list and Hakeem Nicks didn’t make the top 5. I would have thought he would be #3.
That is a good thing
we can steal him in round 2..keep him dropping. The guy makes plays which is what we need..
