Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Tim Crowder on the block

According to the National Football Post, the Broncos will put DE Tim Crowder on the trading block. The reason being they dont think he can play the 5 techinque in their new 3-4 defense and at 275 LBS he is too heavy to play OLB. In his Broncos career he has had 5 sacks, all in his rookie year of 2007. He is still only 23 and was great at Texas at pressuring the QB and seems to be the kind of guy Marinelli could work wonders with.  As long as it just 4th or 5th rounder we give up it would be worth the gamble in my opinion.

He was a 2nd round pick...

And he is a pretty good player. I would think he would go for a 3rd (i would say 2nd, but he was drafted in the 2nd, and teams never break even)…

I know ChiFan would love to see him in a Bears jersey…

Things will get better as they improve...

Kind of funny...

Shanahan finally drafted a decent D-lineman…. and now the new coaching staff is going to get rid of him. LOL.

I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.

You know me too well

I’d love to see him in a Bears jersey. At the same time, I realize it probably won’t happen.

I'M A MAN! I'M 22!

Seeing how NFL teams value draft picks

I doubt the Broncos can get a third for a guy that A) Has not shown yet that he can be an above average player in the NFL yet or B) A guy they really dont seem to want.

I agree...

the best the Broncos can hope for is a 4th rounder. For a guy that was supposed to be a pass rusher, if I remember him correctly, to have only 5 sacks in two seasons, that is not good.

I bet Elvis Dumervil has a hell of a year in that 3-4
