Detroit Lions Pick
Don Banks from Sports Illustrated is saying that despite the common belief that the Lions will draft Stafford number 1, he sees them going in a different direction
The Lions are going to select one of the draft's several highly rated offensive tackles with the first pick, and that's that.
This is bad news for the Bears, and the chances of Oher being available at 18. A lot of the teams who need tackles already have their QB situation figured out.
Rams- Bulger (would be fine for a couple more seasons)
Cincinnati- Palmer
Jacksonville- Garrard
Washington- Jason Campbell
The Bears only hope is that Orakpo is available for Washington to pick and they go with him, or the Rams decide to go in a new direction with a new coach and pick Stafford.

They do get 2 first round picks...
So they have quite a buffet in front of them. I figure they will take 1 big playmaker, and 1 long-term contributor… not necessarily in that order though.
Things will get better as they improve...
There 2nd 1st round pick is after ours...
So I really don’t care about that one. I’m worried with there 1st pick that they go O-Line(what this article is saying), if so I can’t realistically see Oher being available at 18. Unless he really scares teams with his work ethic, then do we really want him.

I'm not buying it.
I’m pretty sure they take Stafford with the first pick. Don’t they have 3 first round picks? but you never know. Nothing surprises me any more.

OT for sure
It’s the safest pick and gives you a franchise LT for years to come. Then they take their QB with the #20 pick- Freeman or trade down to take him later and fill yet another need with the other (DE).
