Jon Stinchcomb available
Jon Stinchcomb is expected to not be re-signed by the Saints.
Stinchcomb is 29, I believe, and one of the better RTs in football.
He is a big-time workout warrior and routinely one of the strongest on the Saints.
He had injury issues early in his career, but I think hasn't missed a game in 2 or 3 years.
He is a tireless community service worker and was named the Saints "Man of the Year" in 2008.
I really think he would be a perfect fit at RT for the Bears. It would allow them to wait another year or two before addressing the position in FA, and what we need before the draft is a few holes filled well.

Why haven't they re-signed him?

Gotcha...
I can’t wait for FA and the draft. All of these names being thrown around… man I hope we do something big!

This Could Be The Guy
For the Bears. Kind of someone not being heard a ton about and he is one of the only true RTs who won’t cost a fortune.

The Saints gained the least amount of yards to Stinchcomb's side last year
But, apparently he did a good job protecting Drew Brees.
"You win because of the quarterback. We have to get that position stabilized. We're fixated on that.
We know it's the most valuable position on the football team. We've gone through so many scenarios at that position we can write a book, moreso on what not do."
