Lance Briggs Makes Most of Pro Bowl
So, I apparently missed the story of Briggs making the Pro Bowl; I assume somebody pulled out for injury and he made it in. While there with family, he caught up with some former players like Thomas Jones, but made the most of his time on the field with 6 tackles (leading the NFC squad).
Yes, I know this is a bit of a fluff piece, but when no news exists, go the scantily-clad girl route.
Either way, drop any comments on the Pro Bowl here.

Anyone Else noticed...
how Al Michaels seemed slightly irritated in the broadcast booth next to a slurred, stuttering, Chris Collinsworth?

I thought Collinsworth might have been drunk
He looked really out of it yesterday. Had the ol’ glassed eyes and smiled at every single thing Michaels said.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
But Madden slurs his speech every day
maybe Collinsworth was trying to fill the role.

Imply away
There was mutual man-crush going on there. Tony G in indy while he’s still in his prime. Scary.
Is it wrong that I quit watching the Pro Bowl 4 or 5 years ago?
Things will get better as they improve...
It was on when I turned the TV on
I saw Briggs, so I stayed for a series and then that was it.

But it's going to be in Miami next year
That should increase interest a whole 0.0001%.

and when the two SB teams who make up 20 of the guys on
the Pro Bowl roster don’t show, it will really make everybody interested, right?

I kinda understand why the NFL moved it up
They want to use it as an “appetizer” to the “main course” of the Super Bowl. However a turd is still a turd no matter if you eat before or after your meal.

Gonna have to trust you on that one...
Having never eaten a turd myself (not being a Cubs fan :) )
I'm not even referencing the tast
If I am AZ or Pitt and the Pro Bowl is before the SB, I don’t let my players go. I’ll pay the fine or accept whatever penalty that comes with.
The Pro Bowl is already next to useless, how will it be without anybody from the two teams that are fighting for the championship in it?

yeah and the fact that..
Baseball has the home run derby, basketball has the slam dunk and contest and three point shootout. what the hell would football have to lure the audience to watch the pro bowl?

They could do some skill things if they wanted
The biggest problem with bball is that the starters are fan choice and you have to start voting like 3 weeks into the season. That is just poor planning all around.

I look at that picture
and nothing but Lane Briggs and paternity suits come to mind. Too…many…jokes…

LOL!
I was going to say that I was just happy he didn’t crash another Lambo while he was there.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
Well he wanted to crash his Lambo
Into those two girls, you know what I’m sayin’?!

lmao
A+ post, sir. Halfblind might have some words for you, but I have nothing bad to say.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
If I had a lambo
I’d want to crash it into those two as well. Of course if I had a lambo I could probably find something even better to crash it into…

You know they are the same person, he probably found it hard to keep up with both accounts. You know slaying all those dragons and stuff that he doth do.

Briggs made it without an injury getting him in.
larry has that system down to a science. Especially with the way the economy is….big wigs like larry coming in dressed in their mink coats and 24k gold cigarrete holders with pockets lined with coke make for a large draw during shift changes.

Wait, the Pro Bowl was yesterday?
geez, just shows that its getting more worthless every year
Erm, well if we are going to call Milton Bradley nicknames, mine is Fischer Price: yes, you heard it here first..
You're the man LB
It definitely looks as if Briggs had a couple of hurricanes at lunch.
