PrintYou know it, you love it, you can't go to sleep without and sometimes it may leave a bad taste in your mouth, but it is back...
Attention all WCGers, WCGians and WCGanese it is time to once again test your football knowledge, your draft prowess, your prognostication inclination and dare I say your overall ability to incorrectly predict who will draft who just like everybody else?
Is Percy Harvin tall enought to ride this ride? Is Andre Smith fit enough for the Top 10 as well as an actual uniform. What team will let the Trojan Horse that is Mark Sanchez into their stadium? Will any team take Rey Malalalaluuaaga before us, so you don't have to watch me butcher his name for the next 4 years? Will the Bears actually try to draft a first round skill play and not trade back for a deep dish pan full of second day picks? With Jon Gruden gone, will Tampa Bay still find a way to once again screw up their QB position and draft Josh Freeman?
All the answers to these questions and more..well.. you'll have to wait another month to find out, but that won't stop us from standing up tall and screaming from the rafters that we have had enough of Mel Kiper being wrong and we won't take it anymore. You can take away our press credentials, but you can't take away our RIGHT!!! to be wrong.
Do you have the guts, the marbles, the strength of heart, the intestinal fortitude, a heart of fire, streets of stone, wings of silver and nerves of steel to continue? If so..follow me, FOLLOW ME TO FREEDOM!
If your wrong, nothing happens! You go to jail - peacefully, quietly. Enjoy it! But if you are *right*, and you *can* pick this thing... Lenny, you will have saved the lives of millions of registered Kiper fans.
What else can I say, it sells itself...
Here are the rules.
1) Every team is up for grabs. First come first serve. I will use post times to decide who gets what team. If I screw one up, thats just the way it is. Pick another team.
2) Pick only one team to start. If you see that one populated later by another userid, pick another team. If you comment with 4 teams, I will take your choice to be your first and ignore the rest. I will do my best to make sure I get them all in correctly.
3) When the draft starts around April, you must pay attention. I may send an email, but I won't wait more than 2 days for your pick.
4) Picks will include player, position, college and then at least 3-4 sentences on why the team will make the pick.
5) WCG writers are not eligible for the initial picking of teams, but may and will be used to fill teams that nobody takes or to step in when the original drafter is unreponsive.
We have a ton new users this year, so get your pick in now and keep an eye open.
