Ron Turner and Dennis Green

I I

Star-divide

In the course of a little studying for you guys, I unearthed something that I didnt previously know....

Ron Turner learned our system the west coast offense, from the immortal:

DENNIS GREEN!

You know the "they are who we thought the were" and "if you wanna crown em then crown em" Dennis Green in the 80s at Northwestern.

Classic that Turners most epic Failure and Greens most famous meltdown came when their teams met!

I did not know that

They should both be fishing somewhere together

Very soon, both will be unemployed.

Muhaha!

Ron Turner and Dennis Green have never, ever, coached together on any team.

As a matter of fact, they’ve never even coached at the same places at different times.

"You win because of the quarterback. We have to get that position stabilized. We're fixated on that.

We know it's the most valuable position on the football team. We've gone through so many scenarios at that position we can write a book, moreso on what not do."

Actually I apoligize...

Wikipedia didn’t list Turner’s minor assistant jobs with Northwestern and Stanford… when Green was the coach.

Carry on.

Thanks

I have been reading WCG for a little bit. I can’t really remember how I got here the first time. If I had to guess I would say Google or Sports Illustrated website.

Awesome...

Well, if you ever have any feedback or suggestions for the site, let me, ChiFan13, or WCG know… all of our emails are at the bottom of the page.

Have fun!

Just like keeping up to date with football. Despite footballs popularity, most of the people that I work/interact with couldn’t tell you the year the Bears last won a superbowl.

you must be deprived...

although i work with nothing but Viking fans, which is kind of nice since they think their team is the best yet can’t win a playoff game to save their life. Which means they are pretty much as dumb as someone who can’t tell you the last time the Bears won a SB. CLUELESS!
