I think it's pretty much universal that Bears fans know that their line needs help.
Our starting LT going into this season is essentially a rookie.
Our PB center has seen better days and is in the twilight of his career.
Most of the other starters have raised the ire of the Bears fans in one way or another over the past two years due to decline in play, or exorbinate cost.
So, here is the dilemia, while John St.Clair definately isn't a Pro Bowler at any position on the O-Line he can play multiple positions at an acceptable backup level.
How much do we as Bears fans value this on the team? Is he worth keeping? If so how much do we pay him? What kind of contract should we be looking at for him?
My personal opinion says that I think he's worth keeping, with something akin to a 4 year front loaded deal, while reloading heavily in the draft this year.
I'd be extremely happy if we grabbed a RT,G, and C in the draft this year.
