Got to go with
The Tulane Terror
Want to give an honorable mention to GallopingGhost for “Matt, Swiss Army, Forte”. Love it, but it doesn’t roll off the tongue like Tulane Terror

Someone suggested, Forte all Day...
but we stayed away from it because of Adrian Peterson, All Day. I like Double Deuce, my nephew actually calls him Deuce Deuce.

Duh, what am I talkin about.
I did put Forte All Day.

I'm partial to
Deuce Deuce, with the bonus points for it also being the nickname of a .22 caliber pistol (consult Eazy-E for details). It reminds me of the fact that Forte is deadly even from a distance.
Glad to be joining the merry band ’round here.

I like...
“Football is my” Forte more than “Offense is my” Forte.
"The phone's for you, I think it's the Devil."
Well now you can vote for it.
Double Deuce it is.

I can't decide!
I love my Forte, but I can’t decide which name I like best… I’ll be back later, hopefully with an opinion! :]

I like The Horse
It is kind like The Bus, but in reference to the fact that he does everything, run, catch, block, inside, outside, short, long, first down, second down, third down, you name it.
Kick it to me... I'm open!
Tualne Terror?
We are going to nickname him with a name from his college?
Let’s go forward not backwards.

To be Fair
I thought it was the best but Double Deuce was not an option when I voted and I would totally vote for that.

I also
would like to revote for Double Deuce. I demand a recount!!! Where all votes are cast with complete knowledge of all available names. Seriously, Double Deuce is way cool. If we get it to stick he can be our “Deeeuuuuccceee!!!” at games.

Double Deuce, really....
every time I say that I think of Deuce McAllister, and I don’t want to ever associate Forte and Deuce. That’s almost insulting for Forte.
Call me a homer...
but why is that insulting to Forte. Deuce has never been anything but a class-act… and a work-horse if ever there was one.
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. (Vince Lombardi)
The difference is...
Deuce is actually Deuce’s name.
- should be Double Deuce (maybe if we can find out what 22 is in Cajun that would work). Like Ocho Cinco in Cajun??? Just a thought.
Double Deuce
has too many twists that can be used by dorky packer fans to make fun of Forte.
I like Tulane Terror best.

I agree with you
I’m not a fan of the way Double Deuce sounds. I’m just waiting for some Packer fan to turn it into Double Douche or something along those lines…

HAHAHAHAHA
Double douche. I’m gonna use that on my nephew next time he comes on here. However, I don’t think Packer fans are clever enough to come up with something like that.

really?
packer fans would. at least all the packer fans i know.
viking fans might not think of it…
but considering it was the first thing i thought of when i read it, i’m sure at least my packer fan friends would.

Not an insult
At this point McAllister has done far more in his career than Forte has. And like Geaux says, he plays the game the way it’s meant to be played and had injury issues because of it. If you think Double Deuce is an insult, I would have gone with Mark Prior. No one in Chicago deserves to be associated to Prior. Either way I’m making the jersey # connection, not the name. And I like it. Maybe do Deuce Deuce instead of Double Deuce.

That would be a turrible nickname for Forte.

If they take the words they want to use, cut them from other clips, then regulate the tone, it could work.
It would sound less Godly, though.
well put

You guys are trying way too hard to make a nickname.
If you weren’t already saying something like “Forte All Day,” during Bear games last year, then it’s too late to create a nickname now.

i think he was born with one
Matt forte is almost matt fuerte or matt “strong”
I went with Tulane Terror in the other post a couple days ago too
But honestly, i had to vote for “Ragin Cajun”, that just sounds so good.

best of the bunch is...
Matt “Offense is my Forte”. its true and unique. but honestly i’m not too happy with any of the suggestions. I kinda like 2sweet. maybe add another 2 (22sweet or 2sweet2btru… i dunno). also like “forte all day” but it might sound better as “all day Forte”
How about
Matt Forte Ounce(oz)

I'd prefer to just create nicknames that we use here
writing The Tulane Terror every time we want to say Matt Forte just seems cumbersome. It be easier to write Forte or his initials, which have their own meaning.
Wale is a good nickname. We all know who it is.
Even something like concrete cyanide is good. Funny and we know who it is.
Something like OAP for Adrian Peterson is good, we would know what it means (Original Adrian Peterson) and it is easy to write. Since this is the only place we’d actually use them, might as well make them easy or humorous.
Being Who You Thought We Were Since 2005!
You're not worried about things being cumbersome
You just want it to be short so there’s less chance of error for you :)
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
That may be a secondary concern
but when we write comments are you really going to use Tulane Terror each time? You’d more often than not use a shorter one word nickname.
If you like Ragin Cajun, you could just as easily use RC. That can be used in a number of ways and also makes it very site specific, which I like:).
Being Who You Thought We Were Since 2005!
Good Point
and plus, Forte Is a finesse back so Tulane Terror doesn’t sound right. Mewelde Moore Would be better suited for that name. How Bout The MF’er?

I originally wrote
to use Forte or MF, but decided to imply what that would lead to. Thanks for taking the bait:)
But we do need a more safe for work nickname since I assume we will be using it a lot.
Being Who You Thought We Were Since 2005!
I'm going to use
MF everytime, just so I can say stuff like this.
Did you MF bust that 40 yd td, that MF broke like 20 MFin tackles.

Call me crazy, but I like it, MF.
And the way that it just kind of popped up instead of intricately thought of. It might be meant to be.

It's funny
i am just now getting into true blood(the hbo show) and Matt Forte is unlike any louisianian in that show lol, i can actually understand him when he talks
I haven't watched the show...
but I do know that the pilot of that show was filmed in my hometown, and the rest in Hollywood. The 2nd season has been/ is being shot in Baton Rouge. I understand the setting is supposed to be north Louisiana, so I am wondering about what you are talking about with not being able to understand them. I know there is a very stark difference in north and south LA as far as accents go (almost diff languages), but Hollywood never gets it right anyhow. Anytime Hollywood does anything with Louisiana, it’s always over-exaggerated cajun accents and voo-doo.
