This is just ludicris to me. We all had the joy of reading GB's Fan Post on Green Bay brining him in to evaluate his talent. Well looks like he wouldn't mind going to UM for 1 year.
The four-year point guard is scheduled to graduate from Duke in June.
Since Paulus did not redshirt for the basketball team, he has one year of eligibility remaining in another sport. And since he will complete his degree in four years, he can go to graduate school elsewhere and compete immediately.

I don't know how you feel about this but I think it's just crazy that he can graduate from Duke, transfer to UM and play football for his 1 year of eligibility. When did college become the minor leagues for the NFL. So this kid figured out he had no chance to play in the NBA so why not get some seasoning at a once top tier school. He's doing it to get exposure to maybe help elevate his NFL draft stock.
I don't like UM and I don't really care for Paulus since he went to Duke and I can't stand Duke but to me it just seems like he's abusing the system. If you want to stay in school and further your education that's fine but just so you can play football...
Greg there are people who go to school more than 4 years, they are called Doctors.
As always I'm curious about your thoughts on this subject.
