The Calm Before the Storm?
I've been trying to find some action here at WCG for the past three days to no avail. I've been dying over here looking for some Chicago Bear fan interaction, nothing. I even tried to provoke some of you with one of my, "Cry of the Warrior" fan posts, tried to stir the pot, no ones taking the bait. I feel like I am the only one left, like the rapture took place and He left me behind. Maybe my prophecy is correct, I am the anointed, chosen, Ultimate Bear Fan Warrior, left behind to fulfill the plan of Him, to destroy the remaining fans of the remaining thirty one teams.
I hope I am wrong, although I am ready to answer my calling and fight the infidels, the bears have yet to complete our world dominance. The only other scenario I can figure is that this is the calm before the storm, the calm before the draft. Is anybody out there?
If there are any of the faithful left, please, let me know all is well. If not, than I know what must be done, the time has come. Do not be afraid for I am not afraid, take heart and be strong for I am strong, I will not disappoint.

You a big 80's wrestling fan?
All the Ultimate Warrior quotes are taking me back…
Ever think the reason may be the biggest news in the Halas Hall in the past week has been the QB’s throwing through a tire or Chris Williams at the Blackhawk game? Doesn’t leave much for conversation. I you haven’t gotten enough countless free agency talk, Jay Cutler vibe, potential trade talks then I’m not sure what you are looking for. Look back and try to find something that someone hasn’t posted, discussed, agreed with, or argued about… How many more threads can we have on potential mock drafts, rookie safeties and receivers? What exactly are you looking for the week before the draft?
If you are looking for hot headlines check in next Saturday… I’m sure TONS of stuff will be going down, ya know, with the draft and all. This is as you put it… the calm before the draft storm.
Ah yes, The Ultimate Warrior.
I saw him in person once, at the Niagara Falls, NY Convention Center, must have been 1992 or 93. The good ol’ days.
I’m not necessarily looking for hot headlines, just some communication, I need to be called an idiot or a jerk or retarded once in a while by you guys.

jerk. ;)

Sorry, it's only 10:30 here in Cali.
You do know I’m just messin’ around right? Just trying to have some fun, stirring the pot a little. I’ve been bored to death since the rush of the Cutler trade has ended.

I know
you’re only joking around. I don’t think you’re a total creeper or anything. Lol. You can just read it different ways and it could be taken as such. I was mostly just giving you a hard time. I’m a little bored myself. I was complaining to GG today about how I can’t get distracted from homework here as much because there isn’t as much going on. Lol.

Well, Saturdays and Sundays are usually WCG’s lowest traffic days. I would bet that tomorrow you’ll get a decent response.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
You mean tomorrow maybe someone will call me deroatory names?
I hope so. It used to be easy to get what I want around here, but lately it’s been like pulling teeth.

Bored?!?
I’ve been watching old Denver games of our new boy Jay Cutler, this is the biggest offseason ever by the bears and you’re upset because you’re bored?!?! This is another example of how we live in a “now” society, makes me sick. You should count your blessings, and if not the draft is right around the corner ; )

Sorry to hear that your son was in the hospital, I sincerely hope everything is o.k.
Please do not let my compassion and humanity deter you from calling me names in the future. I truly enjoy being called names and derogatory things. Thank you.

Everything is good he’s doing much much better. He’s ready for draft day.
I will not let your compassion or humanity in anyway deter myself from verbally attacking you and name calling at each and every opportunity. :)

the draft will solve most of this
it’ll be new fodder for people to chew on for a couple of weeks and get us through most of baseball season. at least, that’s how I’m thinking right now. A lot of speculating on what’s going to happen and it just needs to happen so we can start talking some real position battles, etc.
I was just a boy when the infidels came to my village in their Blackhawk helicopters. The infidels fired at the oil fields and they lit up like the eyes of Allah. Burning oil rained down from the sky and cooked everything it touched. I could only hide myself and cry as my goats were consumed by the fiery black liquid death. In the midst of the chaos, I could swear that I heard my goats screaming for help. As quickly as they had come, the infidels were gone. It was on that day I put a jihad on them. And if you don’t believe it, then you’d better kill me now, because I’ll put a jihad on you, too.
A Holy War on me? Really?
It looks like I found a taker. I’ve been preparing for Jihad all my life, I couldn’t be more ready.

Somebody has to make some new fan posts around here.
When was the last time you made one? When was the last time you contributed anything? besides trying to degrade someones post or comment?

i am pretty sure there’s no requirement for a certain amount of fanposts. especially when its garbage pushing actual discussion off the front page.
not taking anybody's side
here, but one thing we haven’t had a lack of is Fan Posts. You all have been pushing them to the point that others are getting buried rather quickly.

other than a Stone Sour… is Parrot Bay Coconut Rum and Coke. I definitely suggest trying it if you haven’t already. :)

But I just prefer Captain Morgan’s Parrot Bay Coconut over it, I don’t know why. I guess because that’s just what we always used! Lol.

That's definately more my speed.
Crown Royal is pretty good. A good bottle of Glen Levitz, or Jameson on the rocks works for me.
Never had it yet, but I will definitely give it a whirl.

Captain Morgan's isn't too bad.
I for some reason can only handle drinking spiced rum when I’m at a beach. When I am at the beach though, I love me some Sailor Jerry’s or Appleton’s spiced rum. Captn’ N Coke is pretty good though.
That is a fine selection of spirits that you enjoy,
I was surprised that there isn’t a boxed wine on your list though.
I really dislike wine, any wine, hate the taste.
But yes, I do have good taste when it comes to fine malt liquor. I also really enjoy an ice cold 40oz of St Ides or 211.
