Apparently Jerry Angelo is just as stunned as anyone.

In an article on ESPN.com by Kevin Seifert he writes based on Jerrys reaction during an evening teleconference " if I didn't know any better, I'd say Angelo was still a bit stunned himself."

"Really, it came together unexpectedly," Angelo said. "... This is the first time for me. You look at the history of the league. I can't recall situation quite like this. How it matriculated and came to the point it got to, I can't answer to any of that. All we did is react to a situation that we felt could help our football team."  And Jerry goes on to state when talking about Jay Cutler, "He's like everybody: A little bit in shock."

He also states how the Bears did an extensive back ground check on Jay to study his character.

Anyways I thought it was a good article and thought I should share.

Thanks.

Great stuff!

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. (Vince Lombardi)

Dude, for serious? 1986 was 23 years ago.
Can we drop it?
