One more position we need to address.

I know we need a WR aswell as a DE and saftey help but we also need a backup QB. To me ( I cant believe im saying this) we should resign Rex Grossman. Hes  familiar with our system and shoulld come with a cheap contract sense no one else seems to be intrested. Ive looked at all other FA and the only one who stands out is Byron Lefwhich

So unless you believe Caleb Hannie can take over the 2nd string job i think we should keep sexy rexy in Chicago.

What do you guys think?

rather

take the chances with Hanie then have Rex back again. Sometimes you just gotta end a chapter and close the book. Rexs chapter for us is over.

NO WAY!!

I don’t want him to be anywhere near MY quaterback. He’ll sneeze inconsistency on Jay and he’ll be infected for life.
Keep him away from Halas Hall.

No. Goodbye Rex, SEE YA.

Leftwitch or Charlie Batch or somebody like that.

Of the two, I prefer Batch.

Agreed, the Rex chapter has been closed

I think Caleb Hanie and the Quarterback we picked up from the Panthers (the one that played for Northwestern) will probably compete for the 2 spot. I read older articles on bears.com that Hanie is hungry for the backup job and i think that’s a good sign.

Hanie

Will be a good back-up, but it might not be a bad idea to get a solid FA Vet, say a Jeff Garcia, or Leftwich, just for insurance. I thought about Rex, but I think it is best to just cut ties.

Rex can't be part of this locker room anymore.

It’s not good for Rex, and it’s not good for the rest of the team. He needs a new start somewhere else.

Exactly

There is only room in the locker room for one Sex Cannon and we just got a better version.

Yeah

I have since settle on Hurricane Ditka as my go to name in Fantasy. Super Fans are great. “Ditka vs. a Hurricane, But What if the Hurricane was named Ditka.”

Hurricane Ditka is great

I also loved Ditka driving the Bearbus in the Indy 500.
