The Weekend Bears Den - 5/10/09

Bear_s-den_medium

....where we shamelessly self-promote and celebrate ChiFan13's birthday!

In The Den

Chicago Sun Times

Don't be surprised if the Bears bring in P Zac Atterberry. You may remember him from last year's training camp.

Chicago Tribune

Dan Pompei thinks that out of all the additions to the NFC North teams, Dom Capers will be the biggest acquisition.

Dan Pompei looks at the most promising prospects for the 2010 NFL Draft.

Jerry Angelo has not discussed Amani Toomer, but is keeping his eyes set on a veteran WR.

David Haugh has a really nice story about Cheryl Toub, ST Coordinator Dave Toub's wife, who had a battle with breast cancer.

This link has seven photos from the Bears Care Gala.

ESPN Chicago

The St. Louis Rams chose not to re-sign Ricky Manning Jr.

New York Times

Devin Hester did an interview recently, and it seems as though he loves being fast in the water as well as on land.

The Tennessean

Maurice Patton has a story on Jerry Angelo's love for Vanderbilt players.

Happy B-day ChiFan!

I hope it’s a good one.

Just to clarify something

Vaughn McClure’s Trib article about the Bears and vet WRs does not say in any capacity that Angelo is “not interested in Toomer” only that he had never talked about him.

Happy Birthday! This year you get a QB for your birthday.

He should last about 10 years. I hope you enjoy!

Kick it to me... I'm open!

What about

Alex’s wife? I definitely prefer brunettes instead of blondes, but certainly either one would work!

Happy joy, joy!

Have a happy b-day Chifan.

How can a defensive coordinator be a more important offseason acquisition than a top 5-8 QB? Hmm….I’d take Cutler over Capers.

Happy b-day ChiFan. Here is a birthday turd. Hope you like sprinkles.

Be nice. Flag comments that you think are offensive. Use the "reply" button. Drink plenty of water. Compliment others. Rec comments and posts you like. Don't call people names. If you don't like someone's comment, attack the comment and not the commentor. Learn the difference in your/you're, then/than, to/too. Exercise. Relax. Stretch often. Find good in the world.

Wait a second...

Dan Pompei believes the Packers adding Dom Capers is the most impactful move of the off season?

Did all Chicago writers go to the Phil Rogers School of the Retarded?

Of all the threads I wish I hadn't caught up on...

Oh well. Happy belated b-day ChiFan13.

Because as far as we're concerned, there is still no team in the history of the NFL that could beat the '85 Bears.
