Bear Tweets
So today I ran across this Jay Cutler twitter page. It is obviously not him, but it is abolutely hysterical to read. You will roll over laughing.
I thought I would also include other notable Twitter feeds here as well. If you guys have any that we might like, post them in the comments and we'll compile a list.
Also, Drew Rosenhaus has some comments about Idonoje and Ogunleye.

There was an ad for Honey
above the fanposts section on the right. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen an ad for honey before.

I normally have adblocker running on my Firefox, so I don’t see these ads. However, one time I logged in here from another ’puter and got an ad for GayChubbyDating.com. It was surreal.

Ok, I just added hyperlinks to make it easier.
I think it would be awesome to put feeds of our players on the site so we don’t have to go back and check all the time. We would get news a lot faster. Any thoughts bosses?

I thought twitter was more of a “What I am doing right now”, and less of a news source. Then again, I have never in my life done anything with twitter, so I may be way out in left field. Hypothetically speaking, what would having feeds on WCG do for us?

Well we do have feeds, but
Twitter is used for lots of different things. Companies use it for branding purposes and to connect with their customer base, it is used to create leads for businesses, it is used for referring people to other sites, lots of stuff. This article should help give you some ideas, scroll down to where it says 17 ways.
But my thoughts were to find our Bears players, coaches, etc. and use it as a way to better get to know our team. I’m currently trying to content Brandon Lloydd and Greg Olsen through twitter to see if they would give us an interview. I mean when do you get the chance to wrtie directly to an athlete or celebrity and know they will probably read it.

Cool... I think bossman knows a bit about that stuff,
so maybe he would be interested. It is always helpful when we have a member who can help out with that sort of stuff.

I think it would be a great tool for you with the community interraction.
It takes some creativity but people dig twitter. It is a young person thing right now, but Facebook was for college students originally and now it is mostly 25-45 year olds.

I have been following...
…the fake Jay Cutler for months now. It is funny!
You can follow me @Bearsguy34.
Also, if you go to www.Fanfuego.com, you can follow real Bears players like, Nick Roach, Brandon Rideau, Caleb Hanie, Dez Clark (who actually replies himself), Jason (yeah I said it) McKie, and Jason Davis.
