The Office: Halas Hall
After reading the recent bizarro Fantasy Football League I was watching the Office. I suddenly realized that the Bears Management and Coaching are characters on the Office.
Jerry Angelo is David Wallace.
Besides the eerily similiar talking styles, wardrobe, and looks both are in charge of the organization and make mostly conservative moves. David Wallace's job was in jeopardy but he made an unorthodox move to save it (like the Jay Cutler trade).
Bob Babich is Kevin.
Alright, this one is pretty much a lock. Both aren't good at their job and may possibly be retarded, but for some reason they are still around. Probably because they are friends with people in the office.
Ron Turner is Michael Scott.
Both have left their organizations and have come back (U of I and Michael Scott Paper Company). Both don't have that much to work with, but year in and year out they do reasonably well.
Lovie Smith is Toby (from HR).
Both never raise their voices and never change facial expressions. I thought about using Stanley, because he's the only black guy but there was that one time that Stanley raised his voice, something Lovie would never do. Both Toby and Lovie are reliable to get the job done.
Rod Marinelli is Creed.
They're both journeymen that excel at certain areas. Creed blurts out random creepy confessions, while Marinelli is a class act, but they're both old men with grey hair, so it was the most logical choice.
Lastly even though he isn't part of the Bears Coaching or Management.
Jay Cutler is Jim Halpert.

The Bears have needed a Jim Halpert for a long time, now everyone has someone they can root for, rally behind, and build around.
Give me a break, it is the offseason after all!

I got McCaskey
Since Mike is a self-important clown with a sense of entitlement and completely screwed up what he had handed to him, I think you gotta go with the Ryan comparison.

Well done
Strange to think that Rod Marinelli could have a look a like, buts it’s close.

Wow
That’s hilarious! It’s eerie just how similar some of them look as well! :] Nice job!

Funny Sunday post
This is the time of year where creativity drives a lot of WCG’s posts. I think the Toby/Lovie comparison is the best because of their expressions (lack thereof), and seemingly unbreakable focus on the task at hand.

Wow
What a great post….after seeing the very eery picture comparisons, I’m never looking at any of those men the same way again.
I'M A MAN! I'M 23!

Man that was spot on
I thought about using Stanley, because he’s the only black guy but there was that one time that Stanley raised his voice, something Lovie would never do.
Ain’t that the truth.
And are you serious, Jay Cutler and Jim Halpert are long lost twins…that is so uncanny.
