87 is great for cutler

madden 2010 is doing their rating system different. guy’s that should be in the 90’s are now gonna be in the 80’s and 80’s are now 70’s

Cutler’s 87= 90-93 range

Cutler's "Awareness" was 75

which brought down is overall. I’m guessing this is just an experience/threw too many INT’s last year.

He’s still the man.

Fitz = 99

Means what like 110 or something…

When I played I was a triple threat.... Stumble.... Fumble.....Grumble....

Is Hester still 100 for speed?

That was a big deal a year or two ago with him. He was the first 100 ever given out if I remember correctly.

So far I've just seen top 10

at each position. Needless to say Hester isn’t a top 10 WR so I haven’t seen his ratings yet but yes I believe he was the first 100 ever for speed and acceleration

I found a link to the rookie ratings not too long ago

I’m gonna try to find it again. D.J. Moore was rated the highest at 73 I believe.

OOOHHHHH!

Forte and Olsen are dissed by these jerks. It’s all good though, they will make them look bad by the end of the year for not statting the higher. Hopefully they will get it right for Madden 2011!

Bears always get screwed on ratings

I remember on Madden 08 the Bears were missing like 10 players from their roster, I had to make almost all the rookies…I’m still debating whether or not I should get the new one.

Madden is all about bandwagon

In Madden 06 the Bears were ranked low 80’s overall, lo and behold a Super Bowl appearance later and wow a 93 overall rating. Then they miss the playoffs and the very next Madden back to 83. I just don’t put too much stock in Madden stats. Fun game sure, but it’s all about who was the hot team last year and they get glorified accordingly.

True

but it’s probably more realistic for the developers to grade on the previous season rather than the ‘obvious’ potentional the Bears will have this year..Atleast during Franchise mode it changes.

You're being very Un-Dude right now.

DeAngelo Williams..

At 94! Anyone else think that is way out of proportion?

By far the best second half of the season

Double Trouble

He is ridiculous, but I think you’ll a slight decrease in his numbers when Stewart starts destroying people. He was only a rookie last year…

Rumor has it Alex Brown keeps Chris Simms' right index finger in his back pocket for good luck.

Da Bears are just going to have to kick everyone's ass this year

and then maybe we will get some love.

Hear about the blind hooker, you gotta hand it to her.

Haha

This is a great post. You gotta love Madden, it’s a classic. At least you guys had 1 guy crack the top 10. I was hoping Rodgers or Jennings might be in there but neither were :(.rdent4hof- Do you have xbox 360? If you do I’m gonna have to hold you to that statement, and we can play.

PS3,

Love to play you though! What’s with your boy Kampman? I heard is not happy with the new system.

by rdent4hof on May 31, 2009 8:32 AM CDT up reply actions

Ya...

I have heard talks of it. I’m not really sure, he hasn’t addressed the media yet this year so I don’t think anyone really knows for sure. In a press conference, McCarthy kind of hinted at it though. I couldn’t really blame him if he isn’t though. He has played on the line his whole career, and has been really successful at it. Hopefully he excels in his new role, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Lower ratings overall

I read that Madden was restablishing ratings overall this year. Everyone’s rating was so high that Brandon Jacobs and Chris Perry could run over the same amount of people. They are trying to have a wider range to really show the difference in talent. In Madden 2009, the bench warmers were in the 60s, I expect they’ll be 40s or 50s this year which makes more sense. Anyway, if you are hooked up to xBox live your player rankings can update as the season progresses. If any Chicago fans have a league or anything let me know, I emmigrated to Philly a few years ago and these Eagles fans are horrible. Gamer tag: Brands735
