....where we will not post anything else about Favre until he signs somewhere.

In The Den

Chicago Sun Times

Brad Biggs takes a looksie at the two new DL prospects and how they'll fit on the line in 2009. We'll be bringing some analysis on this story later this morning.

Kyle Orton talks about Chicago and Denver in this interview.

In another repeat story, Biggs discusses the Fenroy dismissal and McGowan to the Patriots bit.

Chicago Tribune

Ten things David Haugh knows.

Daily Herald

The Daily Herald also wanted to let you know that Jay Cutler will be at the Bears Expo.

Brandon McGowan signed with the Patriots. I know, I know, old news, but I still have to bring it to you.

Remember the airline ticket Israel Idonije and Adewale Ogunleye payed for the little girl from Africa for a heart operation? The mother and daughter swung through Chicago to thank the duo before they left for Nigeria.

Whoa! Howard Mudd is retiring (he played for the bears in the 60's)

LINK

This may not seem significant, but tell that to Peyton Manning and Colt’s OC Tom Moore. The Colts Offensive supremacy is nearing it’s end.

Thanks for the link

I find that I can withstand Peyton Manning and the Colt’s misfortune with great fortitude.

Just in case you missed it

It’s the T.O. / Brett Favre Comparison Chart from Shutdown Corner

And the prevailing wind happens to be blowing from Vichy.

for the "true" football fan

the big blue and BGN collaberated on a piece that pitted their eerily similar draft picks against each other… some interesting reading(sorry, but i’ve scoured the earth and not too much on ther bears front that i don’t already know about). anyways. i posed the question on how the teams would look if the quarterback situation was reversed(i.e., DNABB in ny and eli in philly). interesting to see if anybody bites on that. it’s nice to see fans getting along over there, hopefully i’ve ended that.

Fantasy

NFL.COM fantasy draft expert Mike Fabiano has Forte as the 2nd pick behind the purple AP. I drafted him last year way, way to high(5th round I think). I was ripped left and right for the pick. One dude next to me had never even heard of him. Forte ended up making me look brilliant. KEEPER LEAGUE!!!

Orton

He’s truly a class act, and refuses to look backward or lose his focus at the task at hand.

"I'm not so mean. I wouldn't ever go out to hurt anybody deliberately - unless it was, you know, important, like a league game or something." - Dick Butkus
