Howdy! Even though I’m a cowboy gal through and through I like to visit other sites to see how their teams are doing! I liked the article on Jay because, as you know, he visited Dallas recently and met with children who have type1 diabetes. It made all the difference to them and they seemed to really like him. Had he not been a football player, he could’ve easliy gone into a field that dealt strictly with children. They really had a good time meeting him and he did too! We hope that he can come back again and spread some “joy” around the hospital. I hope that everyone appreciates his hard work towards lending a “helping hand” to the cause.

I also know that you have your reservations about Brandon and I can understand that, but allow yourselves to be open to him possibly arriving there. Allow him to have his day in court and it he’s vindicated then you can proceed as normal. I don’t know all the facts and I shouldn’t, but I always believed that the bears locker room can handle a guy like Brandon because of the leadership. People have linked him to Dallas, but we don’t have the team “set” yet so we can’t. There’s not anything wrong with asking for help, but the nfl has developed this “tough as nails” attitude that exists and players may be afraid to "reach out " sometimes. With proper counseling and a strong team with him I do believe that it can happen. I actualy had a “bad receiver” (yeah I know, look at all the others) that was able to turn it around because of a “strong team” around him. He was forced to “clean up his act” and it worked. When the next “reality show” comes on about a HOF receiver finding a player for a team, why not let it be you! They can turn themselves around and be a productive member of society. If it should happen, embrace him and give him a chance to perform for you. I know that you can do it!
Good Luck!

Battering his girlfriend on multiple occasions = a desperate plea for help?

What's with all the quotation marks?
Thanks for the good luck wishes though. Good luck to you too. :) And I understand what you say about Marshall, but personally, I am still against having him. But, I’m tired of that argument, so I’ll just leave it at that. :)

Marshall's a piece of garbage
If not having him means no superbowl, so be it. my conscience can bear that. people that actually want him on this team must seriously be F’ked in the head.

How do you really feel ifuwanna?
There’s this thing called due process that allows people to have their day in court. It’s been said one of the girls he supposedly “beat” retracted her claim. I think it’s been a little overblown, but certainly I do agree with you about not acquiring him cause he’s always in trouble no matter if he’s somewhat innocent or not.

It's not just his hair, it's his clothes, and general appearance as well.
If he wore glasses, I’d bet there would be tape on the bridge of the nose. My guess is, that before he grew to 6+ feet and 200+ lbs., his milk money never made it to the bus.

My one-liner from yesterday
Bear’s Den…..where fans will continue to discuss Favre, Marshall, and Burress as long as there’s nothing else to talk about.

Nice Corey Graham Article..
"I take a lot of pride in what I’ve done to get to this point, but I know I have a lot more work to do," said Graham, who turns 24 on July 25. "I want to be one of the elite players; I want to continue to grow and get better. Every year I’ve made those steps. As a rookie I played mostly on special teams. Going into my second year I said I don’t want to just be a special teams player and I was able to start nine games and play well out there. Now I don’t just want to be a starter, I want to be a guy who makes plays that impact the outcome of games. That’s what this league is about; you try to get better every year."
I liked this guy immediately as a rookie, and I’m still surprised that he ended last year with two less tackles than Brian Urlacher. If he translates to safety well, a very big hole for us could be quite servicably filled.

Thanks for the input guys/gals and we do miss Farrah in Texas (she graduated from UT with a degree in microbiology) and we are very proud of her legacy. It’s safe to say that this season is going to be very interesting, to say the least. From Cutler to Romo to Brees everyone has an opportunity to go deep in the playoffs so lets not disappoint anyone. Our conference is loaded with qb youth so we should expect alot of excitement and head scratching moments, but we’ll take it because their our franchise qbs for better or for worse. Of course, we want more better than worse, but with youth come the need for patience. The bears’/cowboys roster are full of talent and it’s time that we did what everyone expects us to do-get to the title game. Now, I won’t call the winner but I will say that it’ll be a defensive struggle because both teams have strong defensive personnel. It’ll be a low scoring affair.
I actually don’t know alot about Brandon’s incidents with the law, but we do live in a society whereas women can seek help easily, but males are taught from day one to tough things out. Maybe it’s time society changed the rules and made it equal on that front. I hope that his career can continue just like any of us. If he is found guilty by his peers, then the punishment should be handed down and served as required. Just as I did for Jay when he left for a new home filled with opportunities and challenges, his best bet is to leave Denver and start over. Wherever that may be, but I hope that he can find the peace that he’s looking for.
