Mike Brown Visiting the Chiefs

Mbrown_medium

Time for a little Mike Brown update.  Seeing as how I believe most of us wanted to keep him, but knew we couldn't.

Mike Brown is scheduled to visit the Kansas City Chiefs.  It is thought he has a very good shot of catching on with them as their current starting safeties are Bernard Pollard and Jarrad Page.

Hope he catches on there, and stays healthy

When he was in his prime, he was an electrifying player. When I think of Mike Brown, I always remember his walk-off, INT return for a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns – in 2001, I believe.

Too bad he couldn’t have stayed healthy and retired with the Bears…

sad.

So why couldn’t the Bears bring him back?

Cause..

the Bears already have like 20 SS on their roster.

I agree.

Why can’t we see where the dust settles and sign him late if he is still available. He is a liability to give a roster spot, but we should be able to find a place for him, if nothing else for his locker room leadership. Maybe he can retire and become a part of the coaching staff? Probably wishful thinking, I realize he still wants to play, but I would love to see him stay a bear forever.

Deja VU!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - brat in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride

Very Sad It Is!!

I am a huge Chicago Bears fan and being that I am from Nebraska, this is especially hard for me to see. I love Mike Brown and always will no matter where he goes. It’s too bad he couldn’t stay.
