Sorry to nerd out on you, but
could post your league’s scoring system and number of teams?
No points per catch.
That all you need to know

yes
Positives: Westbrook, I’m assuming you got him late, because of his off-season surgery.
Forte, I love it and that’s not me being a homer.
Barber, I’ve heard the cowgirls say they are gonna run much more this year.
Mendenhall, I think he will be a top 20 pick next year! (meaning, good year in 09’)
Hester, a #1 WR on your bench is never a bad thing.
Gould, he’s at the top every year!
Bears D, they came in way under rated this year. (to my delight)
D. Jackson, an excellent #2 option for a fantasy team.
Carlson, a legit #1 TE
Taylor, pissing off the AP owner is worth this pick alone
Driver, looks like you got good value here
Negatives: Cutler: sorry, I don’t think he’s a #1 option in fantasy (great #2 though)
Welker, He doesn’t score TD’s and without PPR, I think he’s a #3.
Rice, I don’t get this pick?
Boom or Bust? Vernon Davis and Matt Hasselbeck
Key to your success? Your QB’s
Btw, a true Homer would’ve never selected Driver and Taylor. (I won’t)
I wasnt around for westbrooks injury... so I took him early
think in the 3rd or 4th
When I played I was a triple threat.... Stumble.... Fumble.....Grumble....
That's not awful.
What you need, is for your QB’s & WR’s to play like legit number ones. If that happens, you’ve got a chance for the whole enchilada . I promise!
You have 5 players
Who will all have the same bye-week. I would say it is a bit of a homer draft but still good.

For Starters Cutler.
I face this challenge every year scespy12, thanks for the post. I have to stay disciplined and keep my personal feelings out of the draft. I’m putting up the stop sign on Cutler for two reasons. The first is our situation at Wide Receiver. The second reason is Ron Turner. I can’t really answer your questions regarding the rest of your Bears picks. Like the other posters indicated it depends where you pick them in your draft. Good Luck!
GENIUS
I picked hasselbeck too and john carlson they are going to have crazy points this year IMO. Desean Jackson blah but everything else is good lol. Good Luck.

Id say you got some good starters for a ten man league
Seems like you might of had to make some trades to nab 3 sold RB starters like u did otherwise people must have been picking all over the place. In my experience, people always tend to go RB crazy in the first few rounds.

Steal Of The Draft.
I’m going to take some crap for this one. Carson Palmer is healthy and I’m going to grab Cedric Benson in the 10th round. 1200 yards and 14 – 15 Touchdowns. You heard it here first.
Kinda were....
It was Espn so I have no Idea if hey knew what they were doing.
When I played I was a triple threat.... Stumble.... Fumble.....Grumble....
To be honest
that is a pretty weak team for a ten team league. I think you probably reached several times to get Bears players even when better players were on the board. Your RBs would look better in a point per reception league.
That said, if you don’t have much money in the league and you have more fun having Bears on your team, more power to you.
I have always considered drafting guys who all have the same bye week, so that I take the automatic L that week, but am full strength the rest of the season. Never done it, but always thought about it.
DEJESUS!!!
Cutler, Forte, hester, driver, and D and Gould are out wk 5
Hester and driver are backups and I have rice, taylor, mendenhall, and hasselbeck there. so with some luck I could still win the week.
When I played I was a triple threat.... Stumble.... Fumble.....Grumble....
I think the bye week is overrated
And people analyze it a lot. You can make trades and waiver wire pick ups as needed. You want to start building your team for the playoffs from Week 1 and let the byes take care of thesmelves.

Ehhhh
Cutler- Got issues with WR and Turner?
Forte- tough to argue.
Barber- Solid
Westbrook- Dinged up, prob wont stay healthy
Welker- Lots of catches
JAckson- I like, maybe could get a better #2 tho.
Carlson- He will one day be a Pro Bowler
Bears- Peanut is out. I think we will be ok tho.
Robbie Gould- Consistently one of the best
Ray Rice- Will share alot of touches
Hester- personally, i think he will catch 75 balls and put up good numbers
donald driver- ehh, im biased
Hasselbeck- not a big fan of him
Chestor Taylor- not bad for your 5th RB, but he’s not a starter
Mendenhall- verdict is still out, didnt get much time last year due to injury
For a 10 person league, I honestly see you in the bottom half of the league. sorry

I’m just joshing ya! I don’t really have an opinion, just thought the image was humorous. ;)
Good luck.

i agree with the shirt
who did you take with the first pick, forte? cutler with your second?
and who drafts before training camp? everyone is going to lose at least one player to injury before the season starts. we never have a draft until after the last preseason game.
Ummm... alot of people start now.
It makes it more difficult when the season starts.
I did pick Forte first overall but i got Cutler in the 9th round.
When I played I was a triple threat.... Stumble.... Fumble.....Grumble....
It's solid
Good starters, good bench, I think Mendenhall could be a sleeper

My friends said the same thing when I picked up Forte last year off the waiver wire....
Where was their trash talking when I won the Championship by 200 points…
A solid draft overall, WR might have been better but other than that not too bad.

Good draft
Your wr’s could be better but Jackson and Welker both could put up big numbers this year.
