NightLink II: Jim Johnson Passes

Nfl_g_johnson_400-200x300_medium

News always seems to happen at once... former Eagles defensive mastermind Jim Johnson passed away today, after a battle with cancer.  I can't speak of him personally, but the game of football will truly miss Coach Johnson.

Rest in peace, coach.

Sad, sad, sad.

I knew he took a leave of absense but didn’t think he’d go so fast. RIP JJ.

RIP coach

Johnson was the guy I had wanted to see in Chicago after juaron was fired….Always loved his D scheme and unique blitzes…..

Heaven just got itself a heck of a football coach to go with Papa Halas…..

Sad day

He was one of the finest and most respected defensive coaches in football for a very long time. His presence and impact in the game will be missed.

Cubs will win 79 to 83 games. Season has been over for weeks. St. Louis will eventually run away with this division. And you can print it. BLou (7/21/09)

R.I.P Jim Johnson

One of the smartest and brightest defensive coaches to ever coach. I would have love for him to be the next Bears Head coach after Jaron was fired.
