Who said this guy wasn't mature...
In this article on the Truth and Rumors section of SI.com, Cutler's true maturity is shown:
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has put off any talk about endorsement deals so he can concentrate on his new teammates and the playbook. There's a perfectly good reason Cutler hasn't been seen or heard doing commercial spots for car manufacturers, hotel chains or anything else. He's not interested, at least not right now.s about endorsement deals so he can concentrate on his new teammates and the playbook. He already is one of the most popular and recognizable athletes in a city with plenty of big-name players. But capitalizing on that popularity commercially isn't an immediate priority for Cutler.
This shows that he is serious about coming to Chicago to win games and make plays. I have a feeling that all of the people in the media that are doubting him have put a huge chip on his shoulder. He really hasn't gotten any respect in this league, he was overshadowed in the draft by players like Vince Young, Matt Leinart, and Reggie Bush, then when he finally proves that he is better than them on the field people start questioning his maturity. I have a feeling that Cutler is going to blow people out of the water next year, so the rest of the NFL better watch out.

Good for him.
The endorsements will be twice as large for him next year as long as he has the sucess we know he’s capable of. Smart move focus on one thing at a time and let the deals fall where they may.
Is it September yet?

Then scroll over to PFT
I thought this was awesome, too.
Then I read about how he fired his entertainment lawyer here at PFT….
I don’t care about maturity, to be honest. I care about winning football games. So none of this bothers me. But some people do, and this isn’t going to convince them otherwise.

Please fix your title..
Typos in comments are one thing, but with post titles, you have an edit button to fix it.. Thanks!!!
On the post, sounds like a good move for Cutler – 2009 will be his audition for a big contract extension. And, if he shines for the bears, in the Chicago media market, he will have no problem getting any endorsement he wants.
Love the optimism

Here’s hoping he comes out like gangbusters and proves all the naysayers wrong.

He will silence critics...
If he silences the Packers, Steelers, Seahawks and Lions to start the season.
Chicago fans are too impatient to start 0-4, so here’s hoping #6 starts with a bang or he could be chased out of Chi-town real quick.
(See also Rex Grossman).
This stupid "maturity" issue is going to be media focus forever.
Well… until the season’s over and Cutler’s made them all shut up about it.

Jerry Angelo trades for Jay Cutler! (4.2.2009)
.
Great decision.
Like to see players who are humble, especially him. Right on!!!

My Take On Cutler.
I refuse to look a gift horse in the mouth. Thank you Dever Broncos. I think Cutler is more intelligent then people give him credit for. My take on the whole situation is that he perfectly orchestrated his departure from Denver to play for his boyhood team, the Bears. He took advantage of a situation, sure but who could blame him? Here this Coach comes in and ruffles Jay’s feathers just enough to allow him to slip away from a team with the poorest Defense in the N.F.L. I mean come on here, we all liked Orton but Jay Cutler? please! Ask yourself this one question. If Mike Shannohan was still the Coach of Denver, would he have allowed the trade of Jay Cutler to even occur? Hell No! The new Coach in Denver will fail misserably. And Jay will take the Bears to the next level.
