If Bowman's third on the depth chart

Is he the nickel or Vashers backup?

Vasher and Tillman's backup

I believe the depth chart is done separate for the nickel.

Knox

I’m glad someone on the Bears receiving corp. reminds them of a good receiver (Berrian).

Our WRs will be fine... Cutler will make the difference and get production out of them.

Orton actually threw for nearly 3,000 yards with our crappy WRs last year. Cutler threw for 4,500 last year… I’d expect him to be near the 4,000 mark.

Let me temper those expectations: 3,500 - 4,000

I think you are right.

And with all of the first year WRs, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to think that we might end up with our version of Marques Colston.

3,500 would be sufficient

Hopefully, the Bears have a first year WR making an impact this year. If not, they may struggle to make key plays in key situations like last season.

Iglesias- 35-45 catches
Knox- 30-40
Davis- no more than 4 drops
Hester- 800-1000 yards, and at least 6 TDs
Bennett- more than 0 catches

Davis- no more than 4 drops

Truly, there’s optimism in the air in the build-up to this season :-D

If he's never on the field

we can never throw to him and he can never drop the ball.

Brilliant!

Mark my words!

Dropapotamus will have a bounceback year this season.

I’m glad Bowman is stepping it up… and interesting to hear Harrison is looking like the starting NT

SO

We’re supposed to be excited that Knox reminds people of Berrian, a receiver with a nice case of dropsies who NEVER fought for the ball, who didn’t blossom until year 3 and never had 1000 yard season here? GREAT! I’m buying a Knox jersey.

He actually did get in some work with the 1st string defense...

Some was against our starting offense, and some was against the back-ups.

i don't want to ruin it

but i was actually adopting David Hyde Pierce’s line from “Wet Hot American Summer.”

HENRY: [demonstrating with rocks] See, this is us and we’re travelling around the sun. That’s a 1.3 million mile trip every year! You might say that each and every one of us is a crew member here on Spaceship Earth.
CAMPER: When will we say that?
HENRY: Any time. Dinner. Literally any time.
GIRL: You’re amazing. I hope that when I grow up I can come to your college and you can be my professor.
HENRY: Well actually….I’m just an associate professor.
MELVIN: What does that mean?
GIRL: Melvin!
HENRY: No no, it’s alright. It means Melvin … it means that I’m … less than.
[Group hugs him and they all cry.]
BETH: Hey, what’s going on?

when we heard about how great the offense looked? little did we know it was more how bad the defense was.

Grain of salt

You really can’t take anything seriously at least until preseason starts. Especially with Lovie teams, cause he a “softy” when it comes to practice. Practice?
