Getting closer to real football!
As before, I'm following (football-wise anyway): Brad Biggs, Jeff Dickerson, Greg Olsen, Matt Forte, Vaughn McClure, David Haugh, Fontel Mines, Dez Clark, Tommie Harris, WindyCG, Peter King, Ross Tucker, Adam Schefter and ChicagoBears.com. All links *should* open in a new window!
Be advised: Anyone calling themselves Jay Cutler is a lying liar. (Helmet tip: Roger_Ledger!)
Today's practice just started so updates should come quickly.

Also, BOO YAH!
BradBiggs: Tillman jogging on the side with a helmet. First I have seen of that.
"If God had wanted man to play soccer, He wouldn't have given us arms" - Ditka
Bowman jogged with him.
Harris participated in the inside run drill.
Vasher & McBride were first team corners.
Hester went up and got Cutler’s first pass in 7-on-7.
Omiyale with 1st team.
Rashied hung on to a pass, even after big hit from McBride.
Alex Brown picked off a short pass.
Adewale batted down another pass.
Toeaina and Roach have slight concussions after game.
Dickerson: Lovie says Vasher needs to pick it up.
Turner downplays any Cutler-Hester controversey.
Greg Olsen: Felt good to be back to practice today… feeling a lot better.
More Olsen:
Have some details regarding charity event. First charity event of mine will be at Joes’ bar on weed street. keith anderson and others will
be performing. Date is Nov 13.Ticket information to follow. ALl proceeds to benefit my foundation focusing on breast cancer which my mom had
Schefter:
Marvin Harrison isn’t done yet. Would like to play this season, given choice. Tenneesee has called. Harrison waiting for right opportunity.
Haugh:
Hester says he was offended by Cutler comments in paper until QB explained them….of course it is our fault
Yeah David Haugh... it is your fault
For obsessive coverage over every word our new QB says… and obsessive coverage over a glorified practice game. The Tribune is in bankruptcy, yet they flew out 3 reporters to Buffalo to cover a friggin exhibition game.
"You win because of the quarterback. We have to get that position stabilized. We're fixated on that." -- Jerry Angelo (12.30.2008)
Jerry Angelo trades for Jay Cutler! (4.2.2009)
.
I was kinda pissed when Boers and Bernstein told us that too
I don’t feel bad for them anymore.
I'M A MAN! I'M 23!
I was saying it all day even before B&B please don't write your
end of the world columns until the Bears are out of the playoff picture. Lets hope thats not the case.
End of the world columns and flying three reporters to Buffalo for a simple exhibition game
are much different. You called the end-of-the-world columns, but unless you had insider info, I doubt you knew that three of em flew out.
But in any case, you’re right. I’m just glad that, for the most part, those preseason warriors don’t exist here.
I'M A MAN! I'M 23!
I had no idea about the Tribune sending 3 people..
Personally it doesn’t bother me cause I don’t have to sign any checks. But I thought the Haugh article was very very premature and I mentioned that. But anyways I just hope the Bears put on a good showing against the Giants I might be going. Then we will get the over the top Bears and Cutler articles. I guess this is why i haven’t picked up a sports page in 6 or 7 years.
