You know the networks were salivating when they saw this one show up on the schedule. The return of Jay Cutler to the home field of the team that tried to trade him. Say what you want, but in hind sight, it was a good move. What is happening in Denver is a borderline tire fire. Being the third season game, we could see the starters go as far as the third quarter depending on how they look. After last week's performance I think we are all expecting to see much the same if not a better performance. Denver is still trying to figure out what they have going over there with Kyle Orton. From experience we can tell you the good one game, bad the next is something they may have to get used to. Charles Tillman and Zackary Bowman did some light practice this week, but I don't think we are going to see them much if any. They really are the missing pieces as far as our defense goes.

I cant’ wait for the damned regular season. It is pretty much all I think about now. haha that’s not too far from the truth.
It will be interesting to see how much, and how well, Tommie Harris plays in this game. I can’t wait until 5PM (Pacific Time)!

I love it
I love how some fans completely shit on players who did nothing but put there best foot forward while they were here. Orton may not be the most talented QB but show the man some respect. He ate shit for how long here? You can’t blame Orton for the lack of decent receivers we had. Orton did the most he could for us with his skill set and the pieces in place around him. I think he has a very good chance at success in Denver. Eddy Royal should be a very good safety valve for him and he will be able to dump it off to the backs in the flat. Give the guy a break.

I’ve been asking myself the same thing for weeks. Orton never did anything to hurt the team or the fanbase, yet some people now make him out to be the anit-Christ, I don’t understand that line of thinking either. Most of us are happy with Cutler but that doesn’t mean we have to trash Orton.
Also, had he not hurt his ankle last year and played the remainder of the season close to the way he did in the first 4-5 games, we would have been in the playoffs. Seeing as how the Cardinals were all but given up for dead before the playoffs started and they came close to winning a Super Bowl, who knows what might have happened. There’s a good chance we might not even be having this discussion right now.
Don’t take this to mean I’d rather have Orton over Cutler, but I really hope he is successful and has a great season and career.

But I really don’t think that Orton would have dinked and dunked so much if he had viable receivers to throw to. When your best pass catcher is your RB you have a problem. Personally I’d love to see D.A. bust out to the point where Hester gets downgraded to the slot and DA and Bennett are the starters. We don’t have all world receivers but given Cutler’s arm the playbook has opened up in a way it couldn’t under Orton.
